Beautiful hotel in a great location. Easy access to everything. The hotel is very accommodating. Breakfasts are excellent!!! Rooms in the back are quieter. The rooms in front overlook the street and offer views of the city. There are several unusual and interesting hotels in Granada but if this is your first time, this Hotel is an excellent choice.

Granada is full of hotels so it's hard to pick which one. I feel that the Hotel Dario did not disappoint us one bit. We were looking for a colonial experience and it's truly one of the old beauties in the city. The location is directly in the middle of the touristy area but it was still peaceful and quiet... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here on the first two nights of our three weeks in Nicaragua, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are incredibly helpful and the pool is a welcome break from the heat. Absolutely loved it. The breakfast was included and was also delicious, rice and beans and fried plantain plus juices, coffee and fruit. The rooms... More

I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times in the past but was extremely disappointed this time. The food seemed old and re heated- I recognize I was in a tropical place but there was a small spider that crawled out of my salad (I did not complain about this- just didn't eat it)... The wifi was not working and... More

We stayed here for one night from Ometepe on the way to Managua/Corn Islands. Great location for a short trip, but the staff were impolite and not helpful. I would go as far as to say they seemed put out by simple requests for recommendations or taxis. Our room was very basic and had a sink in the room, as... More

Hotel Daria proved the perfect Granada accommodation. We stayed there for a couple of nights and enjoyed every moment. The location is fabulous - the closed-down street bustled with activity and great tables for drinking and people watching (we were there on Super Bowl Sunday - the game was playing on a large outdoor screen across the street. Very festive!)).... More

My wife and I had to do a border crossing for our visa, and over the New Years holiday we were able to book at Hotel Dario and the price was very reasonable considering the time of year. The staff is wonderful and the street fun is crazy and our room during the midnight craziness was amazingly quiet, again considering.... More

All the ingrediënts are there to spend a wonderfull stay: location, nice building, great breakfast, but in the end we felt a little disappointed: service can be better, cleanlyness, noisy. You can feel there is a lac of strong management right now.

We enjoyed our stay here, and everyone around us seemed to be enjoying it too. Specially parents with kids. The servers were very nice, the front desk people OKAY. Breakfast was good and their cheesecake is amazing!

Just a head's up - if you're making a reservation with Hotel Dario, triple check your confirmation before you head to Granada. I submitted a reservation request through the website, and received an email that "they got my message." I called the hotel three or four times before heading out to Granada, and couldn't get through to anyone (but assumed... More
