Before we even arrived the staff was very helpful, arranged for someone to pick us up at the airport in Managua to take us straight to Granada. The hotel is very quaint, has 2 gorgeous courtyards, one with a pool. The flora is very pretty, rooms were clean and had a/c. Couldn't get warm water in the shower but it's... More

This is a great hotel with easy access to the square and the gringo street with great food and drink choices. We were welcomed warmly by friendly staff and served great drinks and big hearty breakfasts. The rooms were small but clean and functional, and the showers cool but refreshing. The garden is a lovely addition with big sweeping patios... More

This is a real gem. Rooms are clean and although not huge, large enough that you don't feel cramped. The courtyard is lovely with a small pool that is really refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfasts are wonderful - you can get lots of fresh fruit, granola, or eggs and rice and beans - good variety. Staff is helpful... More

Do not let the street entrance of this hotel keep you from discovering it's hidden treasure. Not particularly inexpensive, still this place is a jewel. From the gorgeous interior gardens to the patios decorated in tasteful antiques, it's obviously cared for with pride and tenderness. Rooms are smaller than other hotels I've experienced in Nicaragua, but I would advise anyone... More

We spend a few nights in this hotel during our stay in Granada. The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. And after a day of exploring the city the pool is perfect. The breakfast was also good. We would definitely go there again.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Patio del Malinche, and we had an amazing experience on both occasions. The staff is very friendly, the courtyards are beautiful, and the Toña are cold. Pretty basic rooms, but they were clean and comfortable. We had the typical breakfast of eggs, beans, cheese, sausage and bread, which was good. The fresh... More

Patios Del Malinche was the perfect hotel for me. With two nice garden patios and a refreshing blue pool it is a nice setting for the breakfast that is including in the room rate. The property is very clean and the devoted staff is always attentive and have a smile for each guest. The kitchen and dining area also doubles... More

This hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good and there is a bar tender at night for happy hour. Relaxing sitting by the pool listening to great music and just reminiscing about the day. Convenient and safe for a walk around Granada.

We only stayed one night (would have been happy to stay longer!). Very central location but on a largely quiet street- walkable to every place you might want to go. Friendly staff, comfortable room, nice breakfast, lovely pool... what else could you ask for? The staff recommended a convenient place to park our car for 3USD. The bartender makes an... More

This is a small, tranquil hotel conveniently located for the city centre. The rooms are on two levels set around a small courtyard with a tiny pool. Our room was very small, and the only window overlooked the shared verandah around the courtyard, but we didn't spend any time in the room so that wasn't really a problem. There's a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
More than a place in the world, a house is a place in one's heart. El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it's a dream come true. Our interest to live in a different culture and to get to know new horizons took us to the ancient town of Granada. The sun-dried bricks of Granada's old walls and the hospitality of its people bewitched us. By restoring an old colonial house we relived a life of peace and serenity created by its inside patios full of history. We hope our guests will be able to revive and share with us the atmosphere of other times. We will be delighted to share our house, where life pours from every corner. ... more   less
