Travelers' Choice
More than a place in the world, a house is a place in one's heart. El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it's a dream come true. Our interest to live in a different culture and to get to know new horizons took us to the ancient town of Granada. The sun-dried bricks of Granada's old walls and the hospitality of its people bewitched us. By restoring an old colonial house we relived a life of peace and serenity created by its inside patios full of history. We hope our guests will be able to revive and share with us the atmosphere of other times. We will be delighted to share our house, where life pours from every corner.

Great hotel, we enjoyed every single day of our stay around the pool and breakfast one of the best. Staff made us feel at home and owners were always asking if we had everything we needed. Planning on going again next year. Thank you !

One of my favorite hotels in Granada for it's cleanliness, comfort and location. The service is also really nice, and you can have food delivered quickly from many of the top restaurants. Highly recommend

Our whole family enjoyed the stay and the friendly atmosphere very much. The small but clean and nice pool was great, also the breakfast and the near restaurants and places. We really liked it. Also the room was nice, quite and clean. We are happy to come back!

I've stayed in several hotels in Granada including Tribal and Colon Plaza. I was delighted by this one - the colonial courtyards, pool and bar area, the artwork thoughtfully curated from local organizations. A courteous staff, a welcome reception, and I was able to choose a room near the pool and they served me breakfast extra early. I parked right out front. So quiet for being in the middle of everything.

Great relaxing hotel with a beautiful patio area and great pool to escape the heat. The breakfast is great quality, and the location is good; it is just a few blocks from the main square. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning and working television. The Wi-fi also works well here.

We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel patio del Malinche. The Room, Staff, and Grounds exceeded our expectations. It is an Oasis inside the City that is very relaxing. Breakfast was included and consisted of a full American Breakfast. Many other choices were available.

This Hotel is a oasis in the center of Granada. The beautiful old patio's represent the traditional style of a Nicaraguan home and the cultural background of it's people. The breakfast was excellent, staff were great and the gardens kept meticulously. The location is excellent for exploring the city, at just the right walking distance to be out of the noisy main street. The pool is a bit small, but perfect for a splash after a hot day. It's just the perfect hotel at the perfect spot. Maybe the beds are a bit firm, but in the tropics that's often a plus, because of the heat...

Loved my stay at this hotel and visiting Granada. I would describe this as colonial style but I might be wrong! Its a beautiful spot with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Located down the street from the main square. They also booked tours for me, got my laundry done and arranged transfer to the airport!. Want to give particular thanks to staff and management who went above and beyond during my stay.

Very beautiful and cozy hotel with wonderfull owners and staff. Very quiet modern A/C which I appreciated a lot. And the breakfast with fresh fruits Just is a great start in the day. The hotel offers also day passes which is a great choice for people who just want to enjoy a day trip to Granada. The owners know a huge lot about nearby but also far sites to visit and are always helpful with information and logistics. The Price is more than reasonable.

What more could you ask for in a hotel in Granada? It is in one of the best locations right in the centre of the city, within 1 minute walking distance of the calzada, with all the bars and restaurants and 2 minutes from the beautiful Cathedral and Central Park. The hotel has the advantage of being completely self contained in a traditional colonial style and so is very peaceful whilst being close to all the amenities. The rooms are well proportioned with everything you could need, with comfy beds, ac and a pristine en suite. The breakfast is filling and of a high quality. The gardens are open and airy with a lovely pool too. I would book to come again as I felt very welcome and I enjoyed my stay.
