We loved being in this location. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Two small pool areas in lovely courtyard areas. No complaints at all. If in-room wifi is important, ask for a room with good reception, as some rooms could connect but we could only connect outside of the room.

The Hotel Colonial is a beautiful classic-style hotel right off the square in Granada, Nicaragua. Beautiful large rooms with hot water, television and wi-fi. Breakfast is good, but not always included in the room price. There are two magnificent pool areas. No car park. Our stay was pleasant and convenient.

We loved staying at the charming Hotel Colonial. The interior consist of colorful tiles, old furnitures with patina, hidden little pools, nooks and crannies with exotic plants. It was located next to the main plaza. The breakfast was delicious and you could enjoy it in a nice little garden. A small bar was tucked away in the center of the...

We were delighted by what we saw on arrival. It is a lovely hotel. Spacious and clean rooms and beautiful pool area. It is also very well located right near the main plaza. Our only gripes were that there was no water in the room or coffee machine and for the price I think this is a reasonable expectation). The...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in April 2014 as part of our Eco tour with Monkey Tours. During our stay (just after we arrived) we experienced an earth quake which shook the building and knocked out the power. Remo was fabulous, making sure that everyone was okay, as well as being very speedy at getting the...

We love everything about this hotel. The location is very central, the staff is amazing and the hotel itself is full of traditional Nicaraguan charm. We just returned from our fourth stay and it just keeps getting better. We walked through the other hotels in central Granada and prefer the size, style and gracious staff of Hotel Colonial.

I stayed at the Hotel Colonial for four days this January 2015. Far too long for a trip to Granada. Granada is a great historic city which is about 45 minutes from Managua. It has some historic building and a great museum and churches. The room was very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. The rooms were somewhat dark...

Dear Guest, Thank you for you comment. Regarding the matresses, we actually have already recently changed all of our matreses to be firm. We had to choose from having soft ones or firm ones and the majorities of the guests prefer the firm ones. But thank you for the comment, We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Granada and...

Excellent located in the middle of evrything. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent outdoor breakfast (indoor if you like). Nice pool.Rooms nice but some are too much humus smelling. Some constant trouble with room keys make it necessary to revist reception a little to often. Anyway these minor things did not disturb our over all impression of a really colonial stay...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind comment. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here with us.
