The most interesting part of my stay was watching the local life walk by. The Owner Jerry was a kind and considerate man. He took the time to warn us of local problems like Baseball hat thefts. as well as Don't pester the little lizards....they keep the other creepy crawly's away. The bedding was amazing, the common area was spacious... More

Home in Granada for me. Gerry is so welcoming and informative. We were there in the height of rain season and it was just an unbelievable experience. Gerry was very helpful with planning out your day plus could arrange anything you ever wanted. Including a cuisine lesson in his own kitchen. Safe area - just don't leave your shoes on... More

I stayed three nights at Casa del Agua and really enjoyed myself because of the warm hospitality given to me by the owner Gerry. As soon as I checked in I immediate got in the nice little pool. For the price it is an excellent value. I would way the center of this guest house is a bit intimate because... More

Jerry, the owner does a great check in - telling you about how things work in Granada, places to go, and good eats. Friendly atmosphere and respectful. Any questions or concerns, were dealt with promptly.

I have just spent 2 wonderful days at Casa del Agua in Granada. It was personally recommended to me by another TA forum poster who had stayed there last year. She was so right - it was perfect. I arrived very early (10 am) & knew my room wouldn't be ready so I was prepared to just leave my luggage... More

See the hotel photo here? At the top of the screen, you can barely see a balcony. That was our "balcony room" for $50/night in high season. What you don't see is that, besides the obvious view of the pool below, the view upwards is the open sky...the best of all worlds. Can't say enough about Gerry....a very nice guy... More

Really good location, few meters to the cathedral. A friendly and helpul owner. Nice advise and tips for the city and things to do around. We were with 2 kids and had the room upstairs with an extra mattress, it was perfect. The A/C works really well. Many littles nice attentions : cold beer, cereals, popcorn... With a kitchen and... We had a good friend recommend Casa del Agua for our visit to Granada, and we are very glad he did. We arrived quite late in the day, well after 10pm, and had given the resident manager Gerry a heads up that we would be. Catching a cab at the bus stop was a bit on the sketchy side, as... More

First of all, I cannot give enough praises to the owner, Gerry. He is the most hospitable person I have ever met during my travels. He sits down with you with a map indicating all points of interests, suggests day trips, where.to eat. He is always there to help. The rooms are clean , you can choose between a fan or... More

My boyfriend and stayed with Jerry at casa del agua. He was very hospitable, helpful, fun and friendly! The place itself is gorgeous and has such a warm welcoming feel - we stayed in the balcony room and it was beautiful. The only reason we didn't rate it higher is the bed (both of them) was sooo uncomfortable - you... More
