Prime location, very reasonable prices ($20,-USD night single), but rooms are terrible, they don 't have real windows, it's a small hole to the walking corridor. They have a second building down inside the property were appears the rooms to be better but they didn't give me these, as I have already pre-booked/pre-paid and those rooms they gave to walk-ins who want to first see the room before paying. as I was committed I got the "orphan deal". and btw like mine there are some 4 rooms more. Conclusion- if you walk-in you may have a look and see what is on the offer; however, do not pre-book.
This posada has guest room towards the rear of the property; mine was the next to last one. It was extremely quiet--no street noise intruded. To reach the rooms, one walks from the street through the home of the family to the patio at the end. The rooms do not have AC, but a fan is furnished which was adequate for me. The bathroom was very spacious. The cost of the room was very modest; you could stay a week and not spend more than $100. The family members are very friendly; it was a pleasure to sit in one of the rocking chairs and chat with them. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Granada.
Posada Las Brisas is a nice guesthouse, located just off the busier part of Calle la Calzada. We're actually enjoying our third and last night here as I am writing this review. We have had a pleasant stay! The room we booked (one queensize, one single bed and private bathroom), is spacious and clean. It has a ceiling fan and a table fan to keep you cool at night. At first it feels kind of goofy to cross the living space of the nice family who runs this hostel, but you get used to it very easily. They're very welcoming people and they and their staff make sure your stay at their guesthouse is as good as if can get. Our room was cleaned very well! Beds were changed, bathroom was all tidied up. Even the curtains were changed! Because we're leaving rather early tomorrow morning, we asked if it was possible to check-out tonight. No problem at all! Also, when we got back rather late after a night out in Granada, the door and gate were locked. After a silent knock, the doorman still opened up for us and let us in. Eventhough they do not state to have a 24 hours reception. Great service!…
We stayed here a week over Christmas and it's a good find for a budget option. The place is kept in good cleaning standards and is very peaceful most of the time. The family that runs it are happy and friendly people, it's in a great location and the price is very good (especially if you have come from Costa Rica!). No real negatives.
As a family we have been staying at Posada Las Brisas every time we come to Granada. The family who runs the guesthouse is kind, generous and trust worthy. They pay meticulous attention to the cleanliness of the rooms, and there is not a better deal in the city as far as rooms, cleanliness and location. i highly recommend!
