We offer you a very comfortable queen size bed with ensuite bathroom (heated shower). Our rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, and feature a skylight for that gentle wake-up call from the Nicaraguan sunrise and the parrots outside your window. Your room looks out onto the courtyard patio and swimming pool. Your most difficult decision at Casa Silas will be whether to have a morning dip in the pool before, during, or after coffee. In addition to coffee, black or herbal teas, we also offer a selection of fresh, local fruits, jams, and a varied breakfast menu of frittatas, burritos, french toast, nacatamales and more... to start your day of exploring. The room has a stocked mini bar, complimentary high speed internet over WiFi, and VoIP free telephone calls to the US, Canada and Mexico. Full laundry service is available. Our concierge services, include airport shuttle, tour information, restaurant recommendations, local knowledge, and more. Of course, we would be happy to take you on a walking tour of the city, arrange a boat cruise or kayaking of Las Isletas. We can also offer guidance, or arrange for a driver to take you to Volcanos Mombacho or Masaya. Nearby, there are also the artisan markets of Masaya, the pottery cooperatives of San Juan de Oriente, and for the nature-inclined, the crater lake – Laguna de Apoyo is only a short distance away, and is a wonderful retreat for a day, or your onward stay. If you aren't certain how long to consider staying in Granada, be assured there's activity enough for a week or more in Granada. In advance of your arrangements, our counsel is a courtesy and we're delighted to share what we know.

The hotel, situated only a few blocks away from the city centre of Granada, is an oasis. The rooms are spacious and the mattresses in the beds are of good quality. The place is very calm and quiet at night. You can relax in a beautiful courtyard right a the cute swimming pool. The hosts Rob and Claudia are wonderful nice and friendly people. They have all the answers to the questions you ask and they know all about Granada and the area around. The breakfast prepared by Rob every morning was excellent and tasty. He also will store your cerveza in the kitxhen fridge to keep it cool for the night. Finally this was the best accommodation we had on our Nicaragua trip. Thank you very much for the awesome days in Granada. We hope the american tape rope walker did not fall into the volcano and Masaya is open again to the public !

Sven, thank you so much for your wonderful comments. We hope all of your travels through Nicaragua were memorable. The volcano is open again, and it was a wonderful show. I'm sure it was a welcome point of introduction to many people to discover Nicaragua. It was disappointing you weren't able to see the volcano but, we're sure you've more to explore in Nicaragua, so we'll hope to see you again soon one day. ¡buenos viajes siempre, amigos!! Rob and Claudia

We love this great B&B...There Are just two rooms, very friendly helpful hosts. We loved the dipping pool, but, most of all, those fantastic breakfasts were a great start for the day! Very close to everything

Rob and Claudia are the best host ever. Friendly and down to earth. And I can’t stop bragging about them. Lovely place with nice and clean room. It has a pool for you to relax. Walking distance to all the attractions yet quiet at night. I have the best time in Granada with them. Highly recommended.

From the moment you contact Rob at Casa Silas you will realize what a great time you will have at staying, visiting and most importantly meeting Rob and Klaudinha Keddy. They are one of the nicest couple/host and now and forever FRIENDS we met in Granada. Rob is a wealth of knowledge regarding anything Granada and Nicaragua. He is a Canadian that moved to Nicaragua over 10 years ago, fell in love with the city and most importantly met his wonderful wife Klaudinha. Rob will instantly become a friend and for sure lives by the saying "mi casa es su casa" because the whole time we stayed here we felt at home. After we had checked out and were getting ready in heading on to our next location in Nicaragua our plans fell through and we had to unexpectedly stay in Granada for a couple of more days, we immediately went back to Casa Silas (like where else would we go after already staying here!!!) and were very fortunate that they could accommodate us to stay there longer. They made our unfortunate and sad situation a positive one. For that we will always be greatful! rooms are air conditioned and big. beds are comfy. Breakfasts are really good.

When I was planning my sister's first visit to Granada I didn't consider staying anywhere but here. I knew that she would love the accommodation, the location and the hosts - which she did. Breakfast was a real treat. The first morning was a delicious Nicaraguan nacatamal which we hadn't found anywhere else and the second morning fresh baked quiche with some seasonal fruit. Thanks for making the last couple of days in Nicaragua so enjoyable.

Great hosts, great rooms, great location. Just... great! Claudia and Rob are very knowledgeable about the city and the country. With its open patio and roof tiling, their house is built in the pure architectural style that makes Granada such a beautiful city. You must stay at least three days to enjoy all that Granada has to offer!

We really enjoyed the 2 night stay and our hosts, Rob and Klaudia, were so warm and welcoming. They also gave great recommendations (restaurant El Garaje was amazing!) and the breakfast was wonderful at Casa Silas. It is located in short walking distance to everything you need in Granada.

The owners were wonderful, very helpful with information of the town and things to do. Our room was cleaned everyday. I like this type of place bc my stuff felt safe and secure, never worried something would be taken. Highly recommend. It’s close to all the main stuff in town, but quiet at night.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Silas. Rob provided a wealth of information about the area and gave great restaurant recommendations. He also made a terrific large breakfast each morning to power us through the day. Our room was large enough for the two of us and stayed cool with a big fan and AC. The bathroom was also of a good size with ample water pressure. Their three dogs were very friendly and well-mannered. We felt very much at home and used refrigerator space for leftovers and drinks.

I have been to Granada four years in a row and after finding Casa Silas I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is in a perfect location, quiet street and just a three minute walk away from the Calle de sada. It comes with an awesome breakfast. The rooms have their own private bathroom with hot water. A nice swimming pool to cool down in on hot days. Rob and his wife Claudia both speak English and know the town better than anyone, they even helped arrange some tours for me that were great experiences. Look no further this is the best place to stay in Granada!
