We stayed at White Knot for 3 weeks and spent our main holiday there. Didn't regret it. The bungalows are very spacious and in very good condition. You have a great terrace and can sit super outside in the evening and enjoy the peace. For peace seekers absolutely top and yet you have everything within walking distance. "Bui" our Bungalowboy was also top. He always took care of everything immediately, the rooms top cleaned and everything filled up. There were 2 bottles of water, coffee and shower gear every day and plenty of toilet paper which is not always a given. The only drawback: the supposedly associated private beach is not private. It was leased which was very annoying for the bungalow residents. If you didn't get there early in time people came from outside and you even from the White Knot couldn't get any more loungers. Also, it is really bad to be approached at the supposedly White Knot private beach and forbidden to bring your own food or drink. You don't want to run into the bungalow if you lie on your beach for 3 hours because of every sip. So you are forced to thirst or buy expensively from the tenant. One thing that would also be objectionable: we got sheets that had a lot of pretty gross stains. Normally I would never have slept in something like this, but the laundry smelled very fresh, so we put up with it for the last few days. Otherwise you can really say these bungalows are really a super great place to stay and we enjoyed our holiday very much. Our thanks goes to Vorhalle "Bui" who takes great care of everything alone!!!!

Very outdated and not as pictures shown on booking sites! I understand what other have said about the service... it didn't seem to be anybody at the front desk. We had an OK check in, not so service minded I think, at least on of our rooms could check in early so we could leave the luggage and change and so on... that was great.
the hotel itself is very very old and outdated, it needs to be refreshed. We had a fountain outside the rooms/hut, that needs to be cleaned! So disgusting water inside, it's a shame they don't take care of it.
Breakfast was good, they have different sets you can choose from. Hotel pool so small! It looked more like a big bathtub or Jacuzzi without bubbles/stream.
Rooms were actually OK, its outdated, but at least the bed looked like the pictures shown online.
This hotel needs to be refurbished! Clean the fountain, new paint and so on...

After 2 nights in bad beds our backs were destroyd so when we enter white knot and try the beds our smile came back and the journey kept going on. Quiet area friendly staff. I will go there next time i visit Kai bae for sure

We had booked this little beach resort from home and for 7 nights. Unfortunately, we wanted to leave when we received the key to the hut. The hut that we stayed in was not living up to the pictures shown on the booking site and on tripadvisor. It was dirty, there were ants and bugs crawling around. The resort offers 4 different breakfast menus, the first 3 days they managed to get our orders wrong (and the menus were quite boring). None of the employees spoke English and didn't seem to want to engage in any kind of service towards us. They even left our hut open for someone to empty our room after "cleaning" it. And the cleanliness of the room was non-existent. It was dirty and filthy in places you don't want it to be. We even think we saw a bed-bug on our last day (and we did get some weird bites during nights). I'm so disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. Only reason we stayed was because everything else on Koh Chang was booked because it was so late. I can't imagine who would ever book this place for a wedding (which is what they try to portrait the resort to be perfect for).

Very bad experience! We just turned back once arrived to the place.. no one waiting is on the reception, everything very old and broken. Very dirty place! Need to be renovated otherwise the can not to ask all this money for... luckily they help us to move to an other hotel, otherwise we would loose all the money we spent for book.

Had to book this place because everything in Ko Chang was full and man am I glad i did it. Booked 2 rooms. One for me and my wife and one for my friends.
The rooms are super nice and the shower very comfortable. The pool, the restaurant, the bar AMAZING!! The people are even more amazing! Very helpful!
Private beach is very comfortable and clean.
Cant wait to be back again!

The way to these bungalows doesn't look very promising, but once you see the cottages it looks much better. Very clean and chic interior! Definitely feels like you're on the beach. Well thought out details all around. The only downside is the pool..quite small and didn't feel like going in for a swim. However, the beach is perfect for a swim! Quiet and feels quite private.

We held our family reunion Christmas party here [45 guests]. The White Knot did a superb job on every detail - food, decor, entertainment, staff.
The atmosphere next to the water was perfect. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the White Knot in Jan -24 for 5 nights and even if the hotel isn't especially old (5-10y) it's quite run down on the outside. Don't let the pictures fool you it looks nothning like the pics.
The "pool" should be called a foot-bath since it's really small, noone uses it. The reception was unmanned when we arrived and the staff hardly knows any english so took a while before we where able to check in and get our rooms. Beach is so-so with quite alot of gravel and branches and leaves. Sun chairs? naa rather ordinary plastic chairs - we went to other beaches nearby instead.
On the good side - apartments/rooms are quite cosy with a fairly big bathrom, clean and realtively high standard. Internet/Wi-Fi is really good, you will get european standards in the reception area (150-200Mbps) and around 25-40Mbps in the rooms - this is among the best i've seen during our 4-week stay in Thailand.
All in all you're probably better of chosing a different hotel, there are quite many in the same price range that are alot better.
