Donle was such a nice person (staff) as were the ladies. Clean comfortable accommodation (private room). So many restaurants within walking distance. The pool was a PLUS. Nice to have food available - it was okay. The one rule I didnt like was no food or drinks in the room (except for your water and coffee). Maybe in private rooms that was not the rule but we assumed it was. It was also nice to just pay $550 baht for transport to airport.
Overall I d stay there again. Babies, young people and a few elders like myself - all feel comfortable.

After an uncomfortable and unenjoyable stay at Indie Beach, I relocated to Pajamas. Pajamas is great - un-pretentious, impeccably well kept and inexpensive. It was nice to have a quality night's sleep!
I stayed in a double room. The beds are wonderful. I even contacted them after our stay to find out what exact pillows they use, so I could buy them for my own home. Everything felt clean, and the shower was good.
The communal area is a nice touch - it has comfortable furniture and hammocks to relax in, with an open plan indoor/outdoor design. The staff made us feel welcome but left us alone after that. Perfect!
As I was on a working trip, wifi was important. The wifi here is reliable and fast, perfect for long days of zoom meetings. There is also lots of space to work undisturbed. I would have given 5 stars if it was ON the beach, but it's just 1 minute walk from a beautiful beach.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Pajamas again, and will recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Koh Chang on a budget.

I stayed here for a week and had a very good time. The staff is friendly, the hostel is very clean and you have everything you need. It's in a more quiet area of the island but there's a lovely pool, a nice beach on 1 min away and you can easily get around on the island with the local taxi's or with a scooter. I slept in a dorm where you have your own little 'cocoon' because you have your own nightlight, curtain, ... airco is very cold at night though. Breakfast was included but I got tired of it after a few days. A little bit variation would have been nice. The biggest recommendation I have for this hostel is to organise activities. There was a messageboard with "upcoming activities" but it was empty during the week I was there. It makes it hard to connect with other guests. It doesn't have to be much: movienight, cookingclass, gamenight, ... I saw somewhere that they sometimes do it so I don't know why they didn't do it now giving the fact it was high season.

Incredibly affordable hostel. We stayed two adults and three children (ages 7,11,14) in a family room with a loft for SEK 1000/night including breakfast. Great mix of families and backpackers. In the restaurant, something fun always happened in the evenings, beer pong/bingo/quiz and they arranged excursions. The breakfast was small in its selection but very fresh. The rooms- fresh and supported. Good AC. Slightly worn sheets and towels. Lovely balcony. Staff- helpful and super nice. Location- close to Klong Prao beach, there are no sunbeds for rent here. Nice beach and water with lots of sand fleas/sandflies. We made the mistake of lying on towels the first day and got bitten very badly. At White Sand there are chairs for rent. Costs 50bht/person to go Songthaew to White sand and Kao Bae beach. Otherwise, it was close to good restaurants, both by the road and along the beach. The pool - unfortunately the pool contained a lot of chlorine so all three children got rashes at once, there was almost never anyone swimming in the pool as far as we saw. I recommend Pajamas and it's a nice contrast to all the big resorts that seem to take over all the beaches.

Stayed here for almost a week during low season. The hostel is really great! Super clean, bright, cosy and well looked after it provides a homey feeling away from home and an excellent space to meet other people. The ease at which one can meet other people here, but also get some space and quiet means that it’s a great place for solo travellers and couples alike.
The best thing about this hostel however was the staff. Everyone was so above and beyond kind and helpful throughout my stay, helping me with suggestions for what to do and with booking activities and so on. They really made the stay what it was!

We stayed in the dorms. The beds were comfortable, curtains to close your bed. Underneath the bed is a storage room on the floor per bed. In the room a bathroom is available with shower/toilet. There’s also a mutual bathroom with more toilets and showers. There’s a good atmosphere among the guests and crew. Nice breakfast. Beach just 2mins walk. Facilities were clean and no issues to store your luggage and use the facilities before check-in and after check-out. Very helpful and nice!
It’s situated in a more quite street on Ko Chang, the more busier (still quite, tho) streets with restaurant, bar or night market are a few minutes driving by scooter/‘taxi’. Didn’t bother us much, but might be good to know.

I stayed at Pajamas from April 2 until April 8, 2024. I got a single room which was nice, but cost about 4 times as much as a shared room. The amenities are nice for a hostel. There is a social activity every night put on by the volunteers. The included Western style breakfast was awesome, probably the best pancakes I've ever eaten.
Pajamas is a special place with especially nice people from around the world. The British volunteers (Nelly and Niamh) were instrumental in helping make Pajamas a memorable experience. I will always remember my time spent at Pajamas. Koh Chang Scooter Gang for life!

I went with my 70+ year old parents and my husband. The ages of the other guests were from young to old. Everyone was comfortable, kind and caring for everyone else. We met two great volunteers- Nelly and Jessie who were great at connecting folks every evening. Our rooms were on the second level, facing the pool. We never heard anything from the parties right down below, even though they stayed up later than us. The walls were thick and the doors kept the sound out. There were two families with young children who also seemed to have no issue with any sounds. What to say about the staff? Faii and Dalí were knowledgeable about everything-set up a snorkel trip and recommended the best restaurants! Oh and the cleaning folks made a delicious breakfast every day. The beach was AMAZING. An easy walk down from the hostel. Shaded by trees and soft sand. The water was warm and shallow. I want to go back! Don't miss it!

I enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The location is perfect as well as the atmosphere on the beach. I can totally recommend the accommodation. Moreover, the breakfast served at the hotel was very tasty: a lot of fruit and veggie, nice waffles and beverage.
