The highest mark goes for the location and view. You dont have a beach access here, but that it okay - Lonely beach area will do. Also close to the night clubs. Villas are simple and clean, pool is not that large and restaurant is good. Over all it is worth the money paid
This place delivered what it promised. It is centrally (but not too centrally) located, clean basic+ resort with some exclusive touches. Staff was really nice and spoke good English. I spent one day on the sunbed by the pool and there were only 3-4 other people besides me. Every here and there you can see signs of upkeep and maintenance needed.
Perfect for us, quite near to the party Locations in Lonely Beach, nice Villas with great seaview and clean and stylish funiture - perfect for us. The Breakfast we ordered was a la carté and really delicish!
We stayed at the Nest Sense Resort for 2 nights, and booked a pool villa. Actually I would give 5 stars, but in our poolvilla was an electric water-pump (directly in front of the bugalow) which obviously belonged to the pool, that made a constant noise (like an aircon). It is unluckily positioned directly between the pool and bungalow, and running all day (until 6pm). I asked if it can be switched off, unluckily not. If I were the hotel management I would fix this, as it diminishes the quality of the otherwise nice bungalow. Due to this fact we didn´t stay there (outside) much during the day. After 6pm. the pump switched off, then it was quiet and nice. The rest of the resort is very nice, .. maybe no pool villa in the future.
My expectations were high before arriving to Nest sense resort and were surpassed from the very first moment I have arrived. Especially our room with private pool provided an excellent sea view, high level of privacy, was extremely clean and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would give a 6. point for the outstanding service, whenever there was a little problem, staff assisted immediately. Thanks for a great 3 days stay with many nice memories which last for good. PS: To the staff. The Himmelbar bar / club had some very loud music throughout every night, so if you could do anything about it for future guest Im sure they would appreciate it ;-)
Nice and cosy hotel close to Lonely Beach. All rooms have great sunset views so no needs to pay extra for beach front - as it’s too rocky to swim anyway. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well designed... oh and the beds are massive! Bar staff are friendly and tend to your needs. Food is fairly decent and breakfast was surprisingly good too. Happy hour is 4-6pm and great for sunset by the pool. Overall I thought it’s a nice place to stay but the price point is relatively high for Lonely Beach... synonymous for backpackers.
We have stayed here before a couple of times a few years back, loved it and didn't hesitate to book again, we stayed for 4 nights in a Beach Villa as we've done previously. Over all we had good stay but there was a couple of things that niggled/ annoyed me this time, which was different to previous stays. The villa's were tidy but looked very worn down (Stained floor tiles, shower cubicle could do with being scrubbed, mattress very old and creeky), the grass outside the villa was to spikey to walk on and looked dead. Maybe a sprinkler system to help keep the grass alive would be good? When we made our booking and on the arrival form we were asked if we had any dietary requirements, we put down 2 Vegan people, but were not offered anything throughout the whole of our stay. Why ask if you're not going to do anything? The 1 thing we could eat was at breakfast, a few chopped mushrooms & onion on a slice of bread every morning, and a very small bowl of fruit, that was the only thing they could offer. The waiter kept asking if we wanted more of other menu items but didn't understand when we tried to explain to him we are vegan. We ate Lunch and Dinner elsewhere each day. Also they no longer have a coffee machine on the premises, only filter coffee. I know it sounds like I'm moaning, but when this was the one thing I was looking forward to about the whole of my trip staying here again, these few little things did upset me a little. I would probably stay here again if these things were rectified.…
Resort is quite small and atmosphere very relaxing. Location is very good = not in the busy spots but still short walk to restaurants etc. Own beach is not really swimmable, but good sandy beach is about 10min walk away. Pool is great and has amazing views. Good breakfast. Room was clean and well taken care of.
Enjoyed the courteous staff, the room, the proximity to town, the quiet - everything! Easy walk to town, and when you needed a taxi, the helpful staff would summon one straight away. Wish there were a nice swimming beach nearby.
This is a definitely a great hotel. We had a little bungalow with ocean view and it was great. The room is spacious and designed very nicely. Shower is also great, and the view is amazing. Rest of the hotel (pool area) is also very nice. Staff are very friendly and try to make a bit of conversation. Thai food and cocktails are also wonderful. Only point for improvement would be the breakfast. I was disappointed twice about it. Eggs Benedict were not great, eggs boiled too long and the sauce also wasn't what it should be and the pancakes also weren't great. But other than that it was a great experience.
