The setting is stunning and we found ourselves at the pool or beach every day for unbelievable sunsets. The staff are friendly, helpful, and well trained. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are very nice, with a garden shower. Unfortunately, not a comfortable chair to be found if one would like to sit and read.

Resort was nice but not specially memorable. Breakfast was quite basic, staff very friendly. Pool in need of better cleaning. Goof location close to village and straight on a beach. Sea not good for swimming (march) because water shallow all the time. Beach shore good for walking and clean.

We stayed at this resort for a couple if nights and I was a but scared at first due to some of the bad reviews. We however did not recognize any of them so they must have improved based on the feedback! Our villa with private pool was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lovely junglestyle decor but not cheap or old. Everything we needed was there and we had a lovely romantic stay. The pool and beach area are clean and well maintained. We had lunch once there but the restaurant is not that special. Breakfast is very extensive with also a la carte fresh baked eggs, waffles and pancakes. Staff was friendly and some spoke really good English. So overall, we would definitely recommend this place! Maybe just a few things to consider to make it even better: - more active attention from bar personnel to beach area. Would be great if we did not had to get out of our chairs to get a drink plus it will increase hotel revenue - i though there was no hairdryer but the morning before checkout I discovered a drawer and there it was 🙈 so maybe make this more noticeable or something.…

The location is wonderful, a good sized pool located on the beach which stretches around this side of koh kood several miles. Good sunbeds and friendly staff. However the breakfast is not so good, limited Selection, the bread was hard, one type of cheese and one type of youghurt. The bungalows was probably at one point great but it needs to be updated! We had roaches coming from a hole in the bathroom that We covered with a Towel. When We complained We where offered to move the last day and got a fruit plate as compensation - not very we’ll handled! There’s better places by the beach in koh Chang.

We had an incredible five nights here! Our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. Amazing big bath, free water, good wifi and aircon. The buffet breakfast was an amazing spread with Thai and Western options, and we ate lunch and dinner at the resort too! A whole vegan menu and fresh, tasty food. Beautiful infinity pool, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets. Friendly, helpful staff and so quiet at night for a restful sleep. 100% recommend! We'll be back!

Save your money and stay somewhere else. I had a terrible experience, I paid good money to stay at this hotel and was treated rudely, wifi never worked and electricity kept cutting out, I understand these things happen but staff are just rude and unfriendly. Hotel is extremely outdated and furniture is old, the insects and mosquitoes are terrible. Breakfast was awful and food was 2-3 days old. Please don’t waste your money by staying at this hotel.

Upon arrival I felt that the staff was not looking after us. They are there but don’t want to work. The breakfast is really not good. The bread was from 2,3 days ago. The coffee is horrible and the other products in general are not home made but very industrial. Not tasty at all. When we asked for an iron they wanted to charge us! How an hotel can charge you for an iron ? When we did the check out they wanted as well to charge us for the laundry bags! We left the hotel three days earlier as the quality was poor.

Stayed in 2days all Staffs are friendly Room was OK but not strong water in the bathtub. Breakfast were not so bad. Relaxed at the beach chairs, average pool However, the light is grimmer after sunset The beach location is hardly to play & swimming there is a small rock and reef. It can walk through find a neighborhood restaurant along the beach but it quite dark

Don't like beach life, but wanted to have one experience. Good resort with clean and big huts. One hour canooying for free (that was fun). Nice pool area and beach. Massage on the beach was relaxing and price ok. Dinner was good but just few eating there. Wine bottles needed to fetch ourselves (no list). Breakfast was crowded enough and very basic.

We stayed here in January 2 adults and 2 grown kids and they kindly gave us adjoining rooms 1 double and 1 twin which was perfect..it's a really nice hotel and the beach is one of the nicer ones on the island,you don't get the gang's of drunken drugged up tourists and we didn't really see any of the fat old european nonces holding hands with a Thai girl young enough to be his grandchild so common in Thailand, Its a very clen friendly resort and as in all SE Asia the staff are really helpful, Especially the waiter with the tattoos this guy is a legend and will go right out of his way to help you. The hotel has 2 ladies offering massages on the beach and we've yet to have better, Its a real soft relaxing massage not brutal Thai massage. Breakfast is buffet style with a big choice, We really enjoyed our week here and will probably be returning next year, The barali is certainly one of the nicer resorts on Ko Chang and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily, And from what I could see its a very child friendly resort with safe shallow waters on the beach. It's only a 5 minute walk to the town if you want to visit the shops or for dining out at night, All in all we were very happy there nothing what so ever to complain about, A well run good resort on a beautiful island.…
