    I stayed here with a group in September. My first experience in an Ashram. It was great. Rooms were fine. Basic as expected. Hot water which I didn't expect. Food great. Gardens lovely and Massage great and reasonable.

    Hi I leave for 1 month stay at Parmarth Ashram for my Yoga course on 24th November n return on 24th Dec. Can someone pl answer the following:- 1) How cold is it in Nov n Dec ? 2) Do u carry yr own bedsheets, towels, blankets? 3)If you want peaceful safe place where shud I ask for accommodation? As I will be traveling alone. 4) how far are the conveniences store as Now a days they allow on 15 kgs baggage so can't carry all with me. 5) someone please advice places to visit nearby as I will have 10 days in between 2 courses. 6) Please suggest names n cafes safe for a single person to visit ? 7) if I do not want to book transportation suggested by ashram is it safe to travel by cabs available at the train station? 8) kind of clothing to wear during yoga practice? 9) Any other advice will be Highly appreciated.     no need of any booking to attend Aarti , however it would be advisable to be present at the venue before 5:30 PM. Remember one has to cross Ram Jhula to reach Parmarth Niketan

    You can stay at parmarth niketan with your Father . Wheel chair will be can move around the Ashram. Evening Ganga Arti is also nearby and other Market place and restaurent also at a short distance. So you can definately... More
