We loved this place! The rooms are furnished old style and there is a large fairy tale garden and a nice swimming pool. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. This place invites you to just stay and dream...

Dorothee and Thomas have created a wonderful B&B close to the beachs of Assateague island. The food was great and the accomodations were very nice. Very dog-friendly and delicious food! If you bring your dog, I'd also recommend making the drive up to the Assateague national seashore in Maryland, which is a wonderful beach and dog-friendly!

My wife and I visited the Garden and Sea Inn in 2011 and fell in love with the charm of the property and the innkeepers, Thomas and Dorothee. This year my wife insisted on spending a 3 day weekend here to close out our summer. Our second visit only heightened our desire to make the Garden and Sea Inn a...

At least for a while. My wife and I stayed a long weekend at the Garden Sea about two months ago (early July) and had a magnificent time. It was our last getaway before our daughter was born and we were looking forward to getting away from it all. We wanted to see the horses, crash out on the beach...

Wanted a dog friendly place to stay for a Labor Day weekend trip to Chincoteuge island. Beautiful grounds, wonderful homemade food, and top of the line service. We stayed in the Chablis room which is absolutely beautiful. The outside deck is wonderful for watching the sunset in the evening or having your morning coffee. The outdoor pool is like new...

We spent two nights at Garden and Sea, the house and gardens were lovely, the breakfasts delicious, Innkeepers were friendly and helpful, suggested restaurants for dinner and helped us to plan our visit to the National Seashore on Assateague and Chincoteague. If you are traveling with a dog they are very pet friendly. Enjoy your visit.

We traveled here to the Eastern Shore not knowing where to stay. I read some reviews and we decided to stay at the Garden and Sea Inn. We got one of the least expensive rooms and it was the best room that we have had yet. The inn keepers were lovely and the grounds were spactatular! This B & B...

My wife and I recently came to the Garden and Sea Inn to stay as we celebrated our honeymoon on Chincoteague and Assateague. Everything was simply wonderful! We stayed in the Champagne room, and it was large and beautifully decorated, with a nice bathroom. The grounds in general are great. Everything was well kept and the landscaping quite nice. Last...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Garden and the Sea Inn for a week when we visited Assateague Beach and it was the perfect choice. It's very clean, gorgeous landscape, and very quiet. The innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It's just a short drive to Chincoteague/Assateague but it is out of the hustle-and-bustle of the...

We have just returned from a two night stay at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. It is a hidden gem- everything is exactly as stated on the website, or better! We hope to return again. The accommodations were excellent, the food superb, and the hosts were so welcoming.
