I recently stayed at the Garden and Sea Inn to commemorate a special celebration and I have to say it was everything I hoped for! The hosts of the Inn are so nice and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere and grounds are so relaxing and romantic. There are so many cozy places to sit on the grounds and enjoy ponds, frogs, gorgeous flowers and gas fire pits. The pool was perfect. The temperature was perfect for me. It was so nice just hanging out and relaxing by the pool. You are very close to Chincoteague. We enjoyed going in to Chincoteague but then being able to come back to such a private and relaxing place. We loved all the unique antiques and the history of the house. On top of all that, you get a delicious breakfast every day! We are very thankful to Grace and Jeannie for making our stay so special!

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights. We were looking for a nice quiet place that accepts dogs. This place was perfect. Owners were super friendly, room (Nelson) was spacious and clean and the grounds and pool were very nice. Grace prepares a delicious breakfast. Being a gay couple, it was also nice to feel welcomed. Location was ideal for day trips to Chincoteague and Assateague. Will be back!

A lovely place to set aside day-to-day life. Quiet, yet very accessible. Close to Chincoteague, Assoteague, Berlin and other shopping areas. Lots of places to visit, but stay for at least two nights to simply be. The Innkeepers are lovely, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast are different every morning. Go for a dip in the pool, sit on the front porch.

Wow! A quiet, easy in and out, beautiful lush and private anchor to explore the peninsula. Grace and Jeannie are unparalleled in their thoughtful details for a getaway. Dynamic and funny, great breakfasts right down to the conversation. We truly left relaxed and renewed and looking forward to a return visit. Thank you so much!

Grace is a warm and welcoming host and a whirling dervish of activity! We haven't stayed at a ton of B&Bs (this was our second!) and weren't quite sure what to expect - but our experience was LOVELY. We stayed in the Chablis room and while that was only for one night our getaway felt much longer. We had plenty of privacy, the room was spacious and clean. The Jacuzzi tub was to-die for and the private balcony facing their woods was a lovely spot to relax and have a drink. The grounds are loving maintained with many little spots to sit - a hammock here, a fire pit over there, lovely little garden spots. It was just lovely to walk around and relax. There was no traffic noise -- it was very peaceful. The rest of the property was great. The dining room was quiet and we had our own table tucked away in the corner. The food was DELICIOUS. In addition to a fabulous breakfast, snacks were plentiful and Grace went out of her way to show us around and make us feel at home and really delivered top-notch service. I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again!
