My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Mark Addy Inn in Nellysford, VA. The Inn was just as advertised, beautiful and all the comforts. The food was incredible, breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner Saturday night and it was GREAT! We booked a return visit in May 2013 for our sons UVA graduation weekend. Looking forward... More

We recently spent two nights at the Mark Addy Inn. Upon arrival, our first impression was of the ideal setting of the historic property, which is situated in the midst of Virginia's gorgeous blue mountains. However, things could've gone downhill very quickly for us. During check-in, I realized that we had arrived 1 week too early for our reservation! I'm... More

We spent two nights at the Mark Addy Inn. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was incredible. The owners were so friendly and very informative about the surrounding attractions. There is so much to do in the area and not all wineries!! It was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back again.

This was a Living Social deal and the owners were great! The views were awesome. The owner's attention to the little details and the breakfast was really good. We will definitely be going again. I did read that other's had Living Social deal and with good bed and breakfast places, I believe in booking early whether is through a deal... More

We bought the Living Social package back in December and finally were able to get away. We were so excited for some quiet time away from our 3 boys that it could have been a shack, but it was a lovely inn. This was our first time staying at a B&B. I think it's important to keep in mind that... More

This was a Living Social deal for us. The place is a bit tired and in need of a little love and attention. The overall feel of the place was just lacking in warmth and welcome. The bathroom shower curtain was mildewed and there was tile missing. The bathroom exhaust fan was filthy with dust. The bed was comfortable and... More

In short I think this Inn overbooked Living Social deals and then was unable to provide enough dates to fulfill their end of the bargain. Buyer beware and BOOK EARLY if you decide to go ahead with a Groupon or the like. The business, money etc: We purchased a Living Social Deal which was to include two nights with breakfast... More

We read all the reviews and had high expectations. We were not disappointed. Our room, the Elena, was lovely. The atmosphere was great, warm welcome and fun pets. Food was just right --the chef even tried a Moroccan breakfast dish in honor of one of the guests. It's like visiting great relatives. Also, Nelson County was full of good things... More

We recently returned from a stay at the Mark Addy. The room, location, and breakfast were great. We had made a dinner reservation with our initial reservation and had an email confirmation. In fact, the Living Social package included an appetizer with dinner. We called the inn prior to our arrival to check the dinner time. We were told that... More

The Mark Addy's host and hostess were great and very flexible. Our room was well decorated and comfortable. The bucolic setting facilitated meeting the other guests and sharing a wonderful breakfast and delicious dinner superbly prepared by the host. The surrounding area with its beautiful blue ridge vistas and ample wineries made for an enjoyable excursion.
