Three couples, old friends celebrating a significant birthday. Charming place, we all loved our rooms. The food was spectacular, breakfasts and dinner, and a lot of things to do in the area. Perfect location!

Thank you so much for the great review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to have you back! Our staff works very hard to make people feel "right at home" as you mentioned. Our charming Inn and happy-go-lucky staff make for a great pair! Thanks so much again!

I wanted to go somewhere peaceful, relaxing and safe since I was traveling alone. The Mark Addy Inn was perfect. I really thought I was at home. My room was comfortable and the grounds were lovely with places to walk or sit quietly and enjoy the views. The innkeeper was warm and welcoming and very helpful in arranging a winery tour for me. The breakfasts were amazing! I stayed only two days and had something different each day. The chef used homegrown ingredients - truly gourmet dishes! I can’t wait to return!

My wife and I had to go to middle VA for a funeral in a rural area. We found this B and B on Expedia. Very nice; staff couldn’t have been more friendly. This house once belonged to Thomas Jefferson’s physician. Best B and B we’ve used on a while. Put it on your list of places To stay in rural VA.
