We were in DC from London and our friends took us for Sunday Brunch as a 'day out of the city'. We were really impressed with the location and Sunday Brunch was a real treat. The choice was almost endless and the variety available was incredibly impressive. A great way to enjoy fine American food!

Client/colleagues rec'd this resort for a rare get away to celebrate a milestone birthday. Separately, my sisters booked this resort as a surprise (along with my 92 year old mom and 80 year old aunt). Was spotless, breathtaking although all the foiliage had disappeared. Loved the private trail ride with Tara. Appreciated the private cooking class with Chef Cunningham and...

I spent two nights at Salamander Resort. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit. The grounds are gorgeous and the maintenance of the resort was fine - I didn't notice any problems and everything worked great. I had a king suite with fireplace which was nice to actually spend time in and was very spacious. Me and my girlfriend had...

Back in June the Salamander Resort teamed up with Rue La La and offered a discounted "voucher" to visit the hotel. I purchased four nights worth. When I called to book the room, the hotel reception had no idea what I was referring to. So I held the room with my credit card thinking they will make good at the...

An amazing resort to spend some time in, especially when you love horses. Spatious rooms, great beds, good bathroom with walk in shower. The gym is really big with the newest equipment and an great offering of group lessons. Nice swimming pool both indoor and outdoor. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed every minute I stayed there!

Big new spa and hotel with lots of business meetings taking place, not an atmosphere for a getaway. The room was large and modern with a fireplace, large bath and very comfortable bedding. The view was very unmemorable. Only ate here once but the hamburger was so bad, I told the waiter and he graciously removed the charges.

I went there on a professional retreat trip. I was very surprised as it was way beyond what I had expected. Very luxurious rooms and great food. Service and hospitality is excellent. The quaint little town offers a lot for its size. small nice shops and good food and coffee places. Wineries nearby as well. great for a weekend trip.

1. a real amateur show with no trained adults supervising & instructing. 2.Chamber maid service very spotty. Always had to call for something- a showercap...a coffee mug. 3. SPA: Not clean. Even when told, waste baskets remained overflowing & dirty towels left wheye they were left. .

I wrote a long review that TripAdvisor ate so I'll just summarize here: great accommodations, solicitous staff, beautiful landscaping, terrific housekeepers, wonderful spa and messages (especially the outdoor heated pool, fire pit, and whirlpool), an easy walk to quaint Middleburg, surrounded by nearby vineyards - I could go on and on. A tiny quibble - we would have liked to...

This resort did not disappoint. My husband and I visited on a mini getaway and immediately felt as though we were far from the metropolis that is DC. We visited in the autumn and therefore had the extra benefit of viewing the foliage in all its splendor. The resort itself was elegant with lots of attention to detail. I enjoyed...
