I thought that this would be a nice place to stay based on tripadvisor reviews. The bed was comfortable and the heat worked. Not so sure about the cleaniness. See my photos of the room upon my arrival.

Was expecting more from reading the reviews. The place is very run down and I won't stay here again. The staff was very friendly but the room had mold on the ceiling above my bed and in the shower. Walls need painting, the carpet wasn't too bad but had visible stains. We decided not to eat here since being so...

We didn't stay at this inn but we ate there. We were trying to get there for brunch and were really disappointed. They said they were not serving breakfast but one of the employees was walking around with a plate of French toast. We ordered lunch, my husbands hamburger had no taste. I had the strangest chickens tenders I've ever...

Thank you for your comments. If an employee was eating breakfast food after the kitchen closed for breakfast, then it was left over and not able to be sold. Our recipe and method for chicken tenders has been changed, I invite you back to try us again. Ask for manager and we promise that your next experience is one that...

Hiking, wine, pancakes, and blue grass. Simple, but nice little inn. Rooms were clean. The Inn for easy to find at night because it was so well lit. My GPS took me right there, and I had cell service. No coffee maker or frig in the room.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Woodbury Inn. The room facades are a bit faded but everything is nice, neat, and clean - and the setting is quiet and comfy. There aren't many good older inns just off the Parkway in this area so Woodbury is a good choice.

Nice setting, clean and comfortable room. Excellent food and friendly and helpful staff. A very relaxing stopover on our trip through Virginia. The owners and staff made us feel at home. We had a great time talking with them over dinner and breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at Woodberry Inn with Cheryl and staff being most accommodating from the food to the room itself. Food was excellent and room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The Inn is very close to the Parkway, Mile Post 174 and is located in a beautiful part of the Blue Ridge. I highly recommend!

Hello, the Mrs and I rode the BRP for the first time finally, along the way we kept our reservation here one night, the place/staff were more than hospitable, right down to grandma in the morning helping me out with ice as she rung out one more satisfied customer. the room was clean, good bed, good water pressure, stuff kept...

I stayed here one night running up to Columbus Day weekend. The Inn is just a short hop off the Parkway and very easy to get to using GPS. Lovely setting with a small pond and plenty of rooms. The owner is personable, fun, and a good cook--I stuck around for an extra hour in the morning just chatting with...

I booked the Woodberry Inn on-line and arrived just as the sun was going down. It is literally 200 yards from the Parkway on 758 W. My room overlooked the lake with two comfy double beds and all the amenities you would expect - good wi-fi & TV, bath & shower. Hosts were welcoming with excellent home cooking (meatloaf delicious)...
