Creek Crossing Farm B&B is in an old farm house with rural Virginia charm, complete with live chickens and deer roaming the yard. Lots of period furnishings and decor add to the ambience. The floorboards make creak a bit, but the accommodations are comfy and the food is wonderful! The proprietor Barbara Baroody carries on quite a conversation as she... More

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Creek Crossing Farm. Yes, this place is a little different than your typical B&B. For me it was like going home to the family farm (without having to do chores)... and this is a working farm folks, with chickens and lots of blueberry bushes. The house is an old farm house with lots... More

My husband got stuck in a snow and ice mess. He was in Purcellville about 35 miles from home. I called this B and B. the innkeeper immediately said she could offer him a room. When he arrived, she did everything to make him comfortable even offered some fantastic homemade soup for dinner. He only stayed for about 12 hours but... More

Meeting Barbara and staying at her farm was just like visiting my very favorite relative - so warm, friendly, very clean and cozy! Barbara is a former President of a Civil War Roundtable and has a lovely, lovely library filled with stories about the war. She is also a collector of fine furniture and silver and fills her rooms with... More

I always opt for B&Bs over hotels, so it was with much eagerness that I booked a room for a couple of nights at this working farm an hour west of D.C. My mission was to escape the rat race and catch my breath. Creek Crossing Farm is not fancy (although it's filled with lovely furnishings and antiques), so if... More

We travelled from Toronto to Purcellville for a friend's wedding and had a lovely stay at Creek Crossing. The farm was easy to find and close to the little town for restaurants/groceries etc. The property is lovely, and we just wish we'd had more time to wander around the farm and explore. The house is beautiful and has all the... More

We had a great weekend at Creek Crossing Farm B&B. Barbara was a friendly hostess, offering us refreshing ice tea with mint from her garden on arrival. She welcomed us into her farmhouse of 40 years with its authentic country lifestyle. We enjoyed spending an afternoon sitting on the front porch taking in the beautiful country side with views of... We just spent the weekend at Creek Crossing Farm with some friends, and we had a GREAT time. The owner, Barbara, was very welcoming and promptly gave us a tour of the many rooms in her B & B, helping us to feel at-home. The rooms were well-appointed w/all necessary amenities (I was happy to have a blow-dryer and nice,... More

I just got home from a wonderful trip to the creek crossing farm. The innkeeper treated us like family, very sweet and welcoming. The house was beautiful with lots of space to relax and unwind. We loved walking around looking at her collection of antiques and books so much to see. Our room was very lovely with big beds and... More

It is true, the house is old (1700s) and definitely a little cluttered with antiques and a little dusty in some of the farther corners, however, it is a wonderful place to stay! Barbara is interesting and quirky. We enjoyed talking to her, but didn't feel like she was too talkative or intruding in our family time. My family, ranging... More
