This B&B is very cozy and comfortable. The views are outstanding and all of the amenities are just what we needed to feel right at home. Dave and Karen were so welcoming from the start and their cooking is absolutely phenomenal. I am so glad we stayed here and hope to be back in the near future!

We have stayed at 15-20 bnb's up and down the east coast and this has been one of the best we visited. Very clean; comfortable bed; nicely decorated; great views; great showers; free snacks. Best of all - the owners are very nice and helpful; without being intrusive. we had a really great time and highly recommend the brierley.

This B & B has the most beautiful view ever. Miles and miles of scenic mountains with trees changing daily. Dave and Karen were gracious inn keepers with a warm and inviting inn. The inn was very clean and the gourmet breakfast delicious. Highly recommend!

Final day of my Birthday trip that went from Washington DC to Asheville and back home. David and Karen were great hosts and their B&B was beautiful and located just out of town. The view from our bedroom was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious. If my wife and I plan another trip to the area, we will definitely stay at the...

We were in town as my son was interested in visiting Washington and Lee University. The Brierley is about 1 1/2 miles from the campus - incredibly convenient. We arrived very late, around 11 pm, which we had arranged ahead of time with the owners. There was a note on the front door welcoming us with the keys inside. I...

Arriving late afternoon for a two day stay we were welcomed the moment we arrived at Brierley. High atop a hillside overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains guest rooms offer a panoramic view of the pastures and mountains to the east. We used our stay as home base for travels up and down the nearby national parkway to explore orchards and...

One night stay on our drive to SC. Friendly hosts, comfortable room, beautiful property and view. Convenient to visit VMI and to have dinner in Lexington. Terrific breakfast, although fixed time later than we normally eat. But it was worth the wait.

David and Karen provided a warm and friendly greeting. Our room had a comfortable setting and fantastic views of the landscape. Breakfast dishes were interesting, and friendly conversations with the other guests was very enjoyable. BYOB or purchase on site and enjoy the views from the surrounding porch seating areas. My wife and I decided to take a trip to Lexington, VA to see the changing leaves. Rather than stay at a hotel, we decided to try a Bed and Breakfast for the first time. Brierly Hill kept popping up with great reviews. Turns out the reviews were spot on! From the moment we arrived to getting hugs as we...
