We recently took a weekend trip to explore the Shenandoah Valley and historic Lexington. On a well-travelled friend's advice, we booked three nights at the Llewellyn Lodge--what a terrific place to base a weekend's worth of fun! The innkeeper, John Roberts, greeted us and showed us to our spacious room, which had a large, comfortable bed and monster flat screen... More

I have stayed at the Llewellyn twice during the past two months, and I will definitely return. The room was very pleasant and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, considering the location. The Innkeeper was very friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, and served in a very pleasant dining room which contained lovely antiques. I found the location... More

We just spent 4 lovely nights at this most convenient and comfortable Lodge. It came highly recommeded and it did not let us down. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in a B&B or grand hotel. We had never stayed at a B&B that had a menu for breakfastwith lots of choices, the omelets are blue... More

I was raised in Lexington and my husband and I come back to visit my father every 6 weeks or so. One weekend last year while on an afternoon stroll, I literally walked into Llewellyn Lodge (LL) - we had been staying at a nearby hotel that is perfectly nice but tends to be noisy with wedding parties, and John... We could not have been more pleased with our recent stay at the Lodge. My daughter and I booked our stay online and promptly received a phone call from John, the owner, to work out the details of our stay. When we arrived, quite late after a long drive from Richmond, we were greeted with a note, our private key... More

My wife and I have stayed several times al the Llewellyn Lodge over the last 12 years and is the only lodging in Lexington that we would consider. The most important reasons being a comfortable, well appointed, clean room at a fantastic price and the proprieters, John and Ellen, they make you feel like you are at home and always... More

I have stayed at the Llewellyn Lodge for work related trips in previous times and have never thought about staying anywhere else because it feels like home. I have never given a review and after my most recent stay thought I would. The Llewellyn Lodge has become like a second home to me and is a great alternative to the sterile... More

Lodging at Llewellyn was like staying at a favorite relative's home. Everything looks (and smells) so wonderful. Breakfast was a delight. John knows everything about Lexington that you would need or want to know and his Southern Hospitality made us feel comfortable visiting a new place. Lexington, VA and Llewellyn Lodge are must-stop-in sights for us. We hope to stay... More

Traveling to horse shows, means a couple of days away from 'home', most of the time in unpersonal, bulky hotelrooms. This time I chose to go to A B&B Llewellyn Lodge. I couldn't feel more at home, away from home. The place was like a 'home' with cozy living room and diningroom, and my bedroom was very cozy and clean.... More
