We booked here when we were going to visit Natural Bridge and explore Lexington. I had mentioned that it was our 29th wedding anniversary and my husband's 70th birthday celebration when I reserved a queen room. We were surprised when we arrived to learn we had been upgraded to a king delux room and there was a nice note from the mngement in the room. The hotel is such a perfect place to stay with beautiful rooms and even heated floors in the bathroom. So much nicer than any chain! We highly recommend this place!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at "The Georges". A true gem of a hotel. Room 13 was perfect. I cannot find anything wrong. Super comfortable bed and great bathroom. Easy WIFI access with decent speeds. Nice staff and a good breakfast. Would go back for sure.

The Georges is the little hotel that could and does rival boutique properties scattered around the globe. Much like the beloved JK hotels in Italy, there's something about the Georges' warm hospitality, pretty decor, and good service that make guests feel like they're visiting old friends. It's comfortable and cozy - a place you'll want to return often, and it's putting Lexington on the map.

The rooms are well appointed, beautifully developed layers of texture and color created a warm, relaxing, and quiet space. The bed just wrapped you in luxury and calm, like a fluffy cloud. The staff could not have been more welcoming; the cocktails and coffee were perfection. Made you feel as though an old friend was having you over for the weekend, and you were as welcome as fresh air. We had a front row seat of the Autumn sunshine falling so nicely on the surrounding hills and gorgeous architecture from our balcony. What can I say? I forgot to buy a souvenir, guess I will have to go back.

Chose The Georges based on T&L ranking of #53 in the world. The room was exceptional, but not sure how they gained the world rating. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice lobby bar and great location.
