My husband and I had a quick anniversary getaway/babymoon. We were pleased with our choice of Abigail Inn. The innkeepers are extremely gracious. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know them over a delicious breakfast. It's a great location for exploring Lexington. We had a lovely stroll from the inn down the street to enjoy dinner. Quiet and relaxing. We... More

My husband and I stayed at Abigail Inn one night during our July 4th VA weekend, and it was truly a lovely experience. Even before we arrived, Landy, the owner, was kind (and patient) enough to answer a wealth of phone questions about the Lexington area, as well as the amenities the inn provided. Upon arrival, we were very warmly... More

We stayed here for only one night en-route to Williamsburg but had we known how delightful this house is we would have welcomed the opportunity to enjoy another night for sure. The B&B is located within a 10 minute stroll of the center of Lexington and we enjoyed a romantic meal at a local restaurant and a pleasant evening walk... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed your visit. Often Becky and I are so thrilled to visit with our guests that we wonder if they're enjoying the time as much as we are. Being in the B&B business is such a joy for us, as we have the privilege of meeting... More

This beautiful former fraternity house converted to a B&B is a lovely, spacious place to stay. Our king size bed was the most comfortable I can recall and the redone bathroom was spacious with a terrific shower. The owners, Becky and Landy, are welcoming, gracious hosts. Breakfast was delicious

Thank you for staying with us as you returned home after attending a wedding in North Carolina. Becky and I had no idea how many friends we would have in common with you. The conversation with you at breakfast was simply delightful. We look forward to seeing you again. More

Abigail Inn is an exquisitely-furnished historic inn built in 1928 and located a short walk from downtown, home to Washington and Lee University and Virginia Military Institute. We stayed in the Robert E. Lee room with a romantic four-poster bed and exquisite Renaissance furnishings. We enjoyed our gourmet and very ample breakfasts with other guests at the 20-foot long dining... More

Thank you for your comments. It was indeed a delight to have you and your husband stay with us before other guests took over the entire Inn for a major three day function . We enjoyed so much the opportunity to have a relaxed visit with just you two after breakfast. Do come again when you can. More

Marty, Having you and your classmates here for your 30th Reunion was just so much fun. We're not sure who was enjoying themselves more - you and your classmates or Becky and me having the privilege of hosting you. Hopefully you and other members of your class won't wait long to return. You all were fabulous !!! Landey Patton More

My husband and I spent a wonderful 4 days at this stately, well-kept, and well-located inn. We were traveling with our 18-month-old who enjoyed wandering around the spacious property and its lush green lawn. We stayed in the Washingtoon Room which has lots of space including a roomy closet that can accommodate a Pack-n-Play. The room is tastefully appointed (much... More

We traveled to Lexington to gather with family and friends. The Abigail Inn was the perfect place to stay! We had two rooms - the Jefferson and the Lincoln. The Jefferson is HUGE, with a small closet we used for our 7 mo old's pack n play. The Lincoln room was perfect for our older son (but would have been... More

My first visit was by "coincidence "…unless you believe, as do I, that there are no coincidences. My daughter was headed to W&L in fall 2013 and we stayed at Abigail on a July trip to check out the town, area, and boost her comfort level. The week before our visit God intervened in my plans to stay at a... More
