This resort is beautiful. We stayed there for a wedding and golf. The wedding was beautiful. The accommodations were were very nice. All the staff was great! The reason for my 3 star review is for two reasons. The first is the lack of plant based options at this resort. We stayed the day after the wedding to golf. The bathrooms on the course are disgusting. They are port-a-potty type toilets. They smell horrible. There are no sinks to wash your hands. It’s very expensive to golf here. They should be embarrassed to not have a real bathroom on the course! Definitely not lady friendly.
Lansdowne is sure to please you whether you are coming solo, with friends, or as a getaway for you and your spouse. I took my stepdaughters here for a spa getaway and they absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious and so clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is so accommodating and friendly. You can see that they want to do everything to please the hotel guest. We stayed one night over and everything was exceptional from beginning to end.
Kyoshi in the spa was the highlight of the trip. He was knowledgeable, professional and has amazing technique. Very skilled. Room lack pen and paper, listing of restaurants i the area and things to do.
We stayed at Landsdowne for one night for a get away. The restaurants were fine, golf lesson excellent and visit to spa lovely. But the experience with room spoiled the experience. The bathroom was dirty (toothpaste on handles of faucet and left over clothing tags on the floor from prior visitor). To top it off the shower hung precariously from the wall and temperature regulator was broken which meant the water was either cold or scalding hot. When I checked out I told the desk clerk about problems with the bathroom. He shrugged his shoulders and wanted to know which room, I assume so he could have someone fix the shower for the next guest. He did not even say I am sorry or offer to make an adjustment. I was very disappointed.
Will visit again! This is one of the nicer hotels Ive been two everything was exquisite. From the Gym to the Market to the bars, I will be back to hopefully be able to play some golf at this resort!!!!
Unique, clean and beautiful property. Travelled on business, and plan to visit again on leisure with my spouse. The views were great, and if for some reason you need something outside of the property, endless options within 10 minutes.
Very nice facility. Food could of been a lot better. Not much attention to details on the banquet side of things, but the breakfast in the Riverside Hearth Restaurant was very good. Being a resort property, the bar was not open very late and many people were very agitated about that. Pool was very nice and clean. Sleeping room could use a little touch up here and there, but overall was very nice and comfortable.
This was the perfect place for a work event. The staff was fantastic, amicable, and always there when needed. The space was amazing and there was plenty of space for everyone to mingle and each section of the resort was beautifully manicured and clean.
This was a very nice hotel and resort but for the high cost of the rooms, I didn't appreciate the added Resort Fee. We were there for an event and didn't even have time to use the amenities and yet still had to pay for them. The staff was outstanding and the room was beautiful.
I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The rooms as well as the conference Halls are very spacious and clean. The entire hotel staff is so friendly. The food was delicious with different types of meals to choose from the menu.
