Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which offered great customer service (thank you Shay). The on-site lounge and bar Cotton and Rye features a cozy fireplace and nice selection of cocktails. I also enjoyed the on-site full gym. We will definitely return to play golf and enjoy the spa on a future visit.

We stayed at the Landsdowne based on the recommendation of a friend. Everything met or exceeded my expectations from the time I made the reservations (calling directly) to the time I checked out. Staff is friendly and helpful, the property is spotless, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Room was beautiful and nicely appointed, The breakfast buffet, priced typical for a hotel, was excellent. There was a wide variety of choices and everything was freshly prepared and delicious.

We got accommodations with the Couples Spa Escape Package for a weekend getaway. It was our first visit and it won't be our last! Everyone was so kind and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was great and the Spa amenities were just what we needed for relaxation!

Its our first time to stay in lansdowne for business meeting with my husband. Such an excellent! service, all staff is friendly we had a good experience in Riverside Heart 100% customer service specially the hostess her name is Max she’s majestic, Max explained on us how the 3 restaurants and ballrooms works she’s very welcoming such a nice and beautiful lady, I hope her managers sees this. Everything was excellent my husband and I is satisfied we will highly recommend this place to our business partners for their events, we will definitely go back on this place again!

We have stayed at this resort a few times over the years when we visit for the wineries. We never had issues in the past until we arrived this time and learned that we now have to pay for parking. Why do they have a resort fee and then force customers to pay for parking on top of that? That is a poor and an uncustomer centric decision made by management. We are disgusted and will never stay at this resort again unless they stop this. It's unfortunate because the resort is very nice. There's an emphasis on fitness and they have a decent gym. I was too lazy to take advantage but it's there if you want it. I did want to take a yoga class but the person working at the gym couldn't find the most updated schedule which I found strange. Then we had a drink at the bar and the bartender did not know the name of the beer. He knew the brand and the type but not the name. He told us that they don't tell them the specifics of the beers which is beyond me. That parking fee on top of the resort to be really angered us and that needs to be changed or they are going to lose more than just us. Petty and greedy.…

Nice hotel, but paying for parking as an overnight guest is just too much. It was a slow night and there were probably 20 cars or less in the parking lot. I don’t recall seeing any mention about paying to park in the hotel lot when I booked the room. I would have stayed elsewhere if I knew that in advance.

You will love the Lansdowne Resort! It is a beautiful resort where you will feel relaxed, pampered and comfortable. It is a great long weekend escape to refresh and revitalize you. The building and grounds are beautiful, the food at all of the venues is absolutely delicious, the bar area is enjoyable, the outdoor fire pits are fun and the resort has smore kits. The spa is delightful and there is a very nice and clean fitness center with classes for guests. Everyone at the Lansdowne is so professional, accommodating, courteous and cordial; from the Director of Rooms, Mehmet, to everyone at the restaurants, the spa, the front desk and so on. One stay at the Lansdowne Resort will result in this Resort becoming your Home Away From Home. You'll love it!

Lansdowne used to be the fancy resort in our area but sadly it has aged dramatically. We took 10 employees for a 3 day stay and so much has declined. Sheets were like sand paper, you can hear the movement across them as you get into bed. Beds were uncomfortable, something we never expected. Restaurants were unavailable so we had to go offsite for dinners or eat at the bar. Lunches were cancelled and we had to leave the facility and walk (winter time) out to the golf shop to get lunch. Meeting rooms were comparable to a low dollar hotel. Service supporting the meeting rooms was excellent, great AV support, snacks and beverages. Even approaching the hotel was blah, no nice plants etc that you expect in a resort. Made us locals very sad to see the decline. Even the restrooms were very aged and in need of updating and service. Lansdowne Resort is focused on wellness and in that way, it delivers. From the time I stepped into the resort, I felt welcomed and cared for, from the front desk staff (shout out to Michael) to the team at the spa. Everyone seems genuinely happy to have you there. I had the best room (7th floor) with an incredible view from my balcony of the mountains and Potomac River. I loved watching the sunrise there. The bed was super comfy with plush pillows and duvet. My favorite amenity was the Ily coffee maker. Having a fridge was convenient (but the room could use a wine bottle opener). The brunch buffet felt very fresh and had unusual items like fruit smoothies and homemade granola. Dinner at Piedmont's was excellent, especially the charcuterie plate and the stuffed acorn squash dish. Again the serving staff were excellent. I didn't swim but the gym is well equipped. I loved walking on the trails outside and sitting by the fire pit with my personalized s'mores kit. Great hotel for a staycation. …

Service is in the Ritz Carlton/ Nordstrom category. Everyone from Doorman (Joe) to checkout desk treated me like I was royalty. Food was great too. I recommend the Clubhouse restaurant for lunch or dinner!
