Keswick hall is such an amazing resort! Since, the property is newly renovated it was gorgeous especially the spa. Katherine and Casey at the front desk were very sweet! They upgraded us to an executive sweet for free! The food at Marigold was brilliant! The next day Allison at the front desk was one of the nicest receptionists I've met in my life! She was so sweet and for our inconveniences she took action by taking the resort fee and our breakfast off the bill! Truly, the service you would want at a 5 star hotel!

Hotel's Favorite
Such a special place... It is in soft opening phase with renovations & 1st December open with new restaurant (Marigold by Jean-Georges), spa & more - It was a stellar stay! The heated infinity was one of my favorite parts that overlooks their golf course! The rooms were elegantly perfect & plush- The design, the special touches, room service & bathrooms were amazing - Plus, I love the extra touch of Red Flower products! The sheets & bed were fantastic! & I LOVED the room service breakfast everyday...& I never usually eat breakfast - It was whimsically delicious - Like art on a plate! I can't wait for my next stay at Keswick Hall / Charlottesville! Also, if you are a UVA student...This is perfect for parents & gatherings as a few miles away!

An excellent return trip to beautiful Keswick Hall! Wonderful staff and restaurant made for a relaxing weekend for a girls trip away. The only suggestions would be complimentary coffee and tea for hotels guests and chocolates for turndown. The spa was perfect and my facial with Jessica was amazing!

I worked with Keswick staff to create a surprise 60th birthday weekend with my wife. the highlight was shipping his and hers e-bikes directly to the Keswick where they put them out to surprise my wife with the gift. We had a great time riding around the resort, residential and golf roads. Great dinner at Marigolds and amazing spa treatment. great hospitality!

May I begin by saying this is a beautiful location and a very clean property. However, it unfortunately goes downhill from there. Reception personnel need additional training and should at least go over the basics of the resort upon check in. I was greeted, handed my room key and that was it. Also, there is no concierge on the property if you should need assistance with dinner reservations at one of the nearby restaurants, tours, etc. Welcome beverage was not offered upon arrival and would have been nice after a very tedious 8 hr drive down from NY in inclement weather. Valet personnel were very professional and pleasant. Day 2 of my stay I had a much-needed spa treatment (excellent) and didn't realize the spa is in a completely different building. When I asked the receptionist where the spa is she just directed me to the "second floor". Didn't mention that it's not in the main resort building and that it is a considerable walk to get to it. I'm presently injured so that ended up being an ordeal for me to get down there safely and on time for my appointment. Would have been nice if one of the valet golf carts could have just dropped me off. After my treatment they arranged one to get me back to the main building thankfully. That was at the suggestion of the kind gardener who was working on the flowers in front of the spa. There should be coffee/tea in the rooms but there isn't. Mini fridge contains 2 bottles of water, ginger ale, a few small snacks and that's it. Bathroom was well appointed and Frette towels were provided. (Would not recommend using the "Red Flower" bath products they provide however). Sadly, the bed was probably the most uncomfortable one I've ever slept on in my life. It's a box spring with a duvet type covering (about 2 inches thick if that) on top of it. I've stayed at many 5-star hotels worldwide and have never seen anything like that. Food from room service was mediocre at best and they bring it to you in awkward bento (?) boxes which are quite heavy and just leave them on the desk for you to deal with. Ended up accidently dropping one of them on my foot further injuring myself (having a difficult month). That could be remedied by simply using a rolling table (like all other true 5 star hotels use) to bring food to your suite so you can dine comfortably. Also, the walls between the guest rooms are apparently very thin so take heed.

Really lovely property, with excellent service and attention to detail. My only complaint was the quality of the mattress which was very poor and resulted in soreness in my back for two days. I would hesitate to come back for that reason alone, even though I loved the property, staff and meals there.

Gorgeous grounds and amenities, all within a short drive to Charlottesville. More than the grounds or facilities, we were blown away by the superb customer service - in our experience, the Keswick team consistently went above and beyond from the time we arrived. There was no better example of this than when we were dining at Marigold's (on property) and the fire alarm in the main hotel went off - without hesitation, the staff thought of our dog (who was alone in our room while we ate) and sprung into action, retrieved him, and brought him to us. Luckily, the fire was a false alarm, but this type of thoughtful consideration and proactive action was exceedingly meaningful to us. Thanks, Team Keswick!
