My husband and I had a fabulous time at the Hope and Glory Inn. There is so much to see in Virginia, but when we decided to travel to the Northern Neck of VA I was pleased to see the great reviews at the Hope and Glory Inn. From the moment we arrived, this Inn lived up to and exceeded...

We needed to be in the Northern Neck for a night and found this gem of an inn on TripAdvisor. As we had to travel with our 2 dogs, we were in Cottage #1. Our hosts, Peggy and Dudley made us very quickly feel comfortable and at home. The star of the visit was the wine dinner, where the dishes...

My wife and I came to celebrate my 70th birthday in style and that's what we did! This time we booked Cottage #4 on the main level as we try to avoid stairs. It served us well. Peggy and Dudley are very friendly and efficient and take care of your every need. Peggy prepares your breakfast and it is delightful!...

A week before Valentine's Day weekend (11th/12th) my husband and I decided to book a one day getaway. After searching through multiple websites and weighing the pros and cons of all hotels, locations, and activities, we decided on Hope and Glory. I am SO glad we decided to stay here. It was the most charming place either of us have...

As a short adventure, our family decided to head to Virginia’s oyster trail on the Chesapeake to taste the freshest products possible. Our choice of the Hope and Glory Inn proved to be the perfect combination of terroir and merroir. Owners Peggy and Dudley Patteson welcomed us warmly, providing valuable insight into the captivating culture of this area. Executive chef...

Thank you Jan O, When a guest says we have achieved "pairing perfection" of our vineyard's terroir with the merroir of our area's local oysters, we are beaming with pride. Thank you for choosing us and Virginia's Oyster Trail. Dudley and Peggy

Extremely charming place run by a couple. Perfect place to stay if one wants to avoid the largish chain hotels. Lovely terrace perfect for self catered dining and wine sipping. The Hope and Glory is partners with a nearby vineyard that also offers a range of fresh seafood (must try the fresh grilled oysters).

They were a perfect mix of professional and approachable and made our comfort their top priority. Our...

My now-husband and I spent a weekend at Hope & Glory back in May. We had reserved cottage 2, but we were upgraded to the larger cottage 1 when we checked in. The cabin was just the right size (bathroom is small, but what can you do?) and afforded ample privacy. We borrowed the Inn's bikes and explored the area,...

When I planned to visit the Northern Neck, I poked around for places to stay. Hope and Glory Inn immediately came up in searchers.
