This hotel which is tucked away inthe Mountains of Southwest Virginia represents the best of modern comfortable accommodations in a historic grand traditional environment. The many hallways, shops and grand expansive feeling of the lobby starts your experience. Start at the huge porch full of rocking chairs and magnificent views and the day to day pressure slips away. From mineral baths...

My wife and I have been visiting the Homestead for years. The service and facilities have always been excellent with a sincere old world charm. We were concerned when the resort was taken over by the Omni group, hoping it would not lose its reputation for service and unique character. What has actually happened is that the attentiveness and caring...

We were in search of a girl’s weekend away filled with good food, good wine, fun and relaxation - and boy did the Omni deliver just that! This hotel is excellent in every way -- looks, service, atmosphere, and things to do! To say the staff is friendly does not do justice to the pleasantness of every single staff member...

Wonderful place to go for the whole family. Also great retreat place. Beautiful surrounding, great service, good food, very relaxing. Love the hot springs. I did not play golf, but the course looks exquisite. We did hiking and views were fabulous.

The Homestead is a great, historical hotel that is vast, pretty, and interesting. Staff are generally great, accommodations are good, but prices are rather outrageous, even for a luxury hotel. $10 gets you 4MB of wifi. That's it. If I were traveling for business, I simply could not stay here. The taxes and extra fees (parking fee, "resort" fee, delivery...

My family enjoyed our stay. It was a Nice place, family friendly would go back in a minute! The fitness room was as food as a gym and everyone was helpful when asked a question. Dining was good but a little pricey.

My Husband and I just visited the Homestead for the first time. It was nice. We stayed in a Presidential Suite (rm # 1000). The staff was nice and friendly. Jimmy in parking went out of his way to be helpful to my husband and I. Allen our waiter went above and beyond. Now for the not so good I...

My husband and I stayed here in April. The resort itself and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are huge. In some places the building is showing its age, but it is surely a massive job to keep it up - and it's still incredible nonetheless. (Don't get me wrong- by no means is it falling apart, just wear and...
