What a lovely weekend we had at Hidden View Bed and Breakfast for our daughter's wedding! This spacious home in a spectacular setting accommodated our family of grown children with their children as well as the groom's parents. The en suite rooms were luxurious and restful. The bridal suite was amazing - the perfect place for the bride and her attendants to get ready for the ceremony. The kids enjoyed the pool with their aunts and uncles, and there was room to run around outdoors. There was a walking path as well as quiet places to sit.
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors at the gazebo overlooking the hills. When weather made us move the reception indoors, Cheri and Ray quickly responded to help us set up a lovely reception area. The flow of the event worked smoothly.
With all the moving parts of the weekend, we opted to provide our own breakfasts. The spacious kitchen had everything we needed except the food, including all the little things you don't think to bring from home but suddenly need.
The location was very accessible to guests coming from the DC area or flying to DC airports. There were also fun things to do nearby, including wineries and Harper's Ferry, where both adults and kids enjoyed the historical setting, delicious ice cream, the bridge over the Potomac, and playing in the river.
Cheri and Ray are delightful and gracious hosts. The bride and groom had just the wedding weekend they were hoping for.

We are seasoned B & B travelers for almost 40 years and have found the very best in all expectations that we desire. First, Hidden View is a boutique B&B with only 5 suites so you don’t have the impersonal feel of the big box hotels or larger B&Bs yet Ray & Cheri offer the perfect blend of attentiveness yet privacy. Second and so important is the outstanding breakfast that Ray prepares. We stayed three nights in the Tranquility Suite and each morning breakfast was over the top. It was hard not to scrape the plate for each course! Third, the accommodations are stunning. Our suite not only had a private access to the pool and lovely patio area but was filled with the morning sun in a beautiful, separate sitting area. The double sided fireplace was such a treat. The bathroom suite is to die for with two large vanity areas, two commodes, a luxurious jacuzzi tub with a specially designed glass window with a sky light and a double sided shower that had all the bells and whistles and even a temperature degree control dial. While we wanted to explore the area, we spent the first day taking in the peace and beauty of the hill top location with lovely mountain views, the heated pool and the wooded walking trail. We appreciated the large and varied selection of wines in the gift shop so we comfortable settled ourselves into the beauty of the location. Ray and Cheri have perfected the art and skill of being the perfect Innkeepers. It is not surprising that while we were there we learned that Hidden View was awarded #1 B&B in London County for 2023, certainly a well- deserved and well-earned accolade in very stiff competitive market. Needless to say we rebooked while we were there and greatly look forward to our return visit.

Hidden View is truly a hidden gem! We spent a long weekend in the Tranquility Suite, which is absolutely gorgeous. It has a large bedroom, separate sitting area and an enormous bathroom, with a dressing room. The bedroom has a king size, super comfy bed with a door that exits to the outside patio. The sitting room has two large chairs quite comfy to lounge in while watching tv or gazing at the gas fireplace. It also has a door that takes you to the patio that overlooks the in-ground pool. The bathroom was spectacular, with a deep jetted tub, with Bluetooth speakers, a huge shower with multiple jets (room for two) and two separate toilets and vanities.
Ray and Sherri, the owners, are so warm and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them and had the pleasure to enjoy some local wine one evening while getting to know them a bit. They have done an amazing job with the property which includes numerous places to sit and relax. We loved sitting by the coy pond and listening to the local frogs chatter away. I would be remiss if I didn’t call out their two adorable pups who are so sweet!
Be prepared for an outstanding breakfast!! Ray is a fantastic cook!

Hidden View Bed & Breakfast is a Virginia jewel! Sitting on a hilltop, the property's view of the Virginia countryside is fabulous. You can admire the view from a pretty gazebo or from an awesome outdoor fire pit. The back of the house has a beautifully landscaped area with a large pool and outdoor patio. Inside is a first class B&B. The house has five exquisitely decorated bedrooms, each complete with full baths, a tastefully decorated great room, a large dining room, a TV room, a sunroom and a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens! This place is perfect for families who want to be together for Christmas or any special event. And that is what our family did this past year. We rented the entire B&B for our immediate family when our daughter got married at the nearby Breaux Vineyards. We had such a good time that we returned to spend Christmas there. Cheri and Ray are warm and gracious hosts, paying attention to every detail. They go all out for Christmas! If I could give this place a 10 star rating, I would. Rent the entire B&B for a memorable family event or just a room for a week-end get-a-way. Lots of vineyards are close by, and Harper's Ferry is just minutes away. You won't regret it!

Based on my personal experiences at bed and breakfasts, it seems to me that some rely on location, some on historic architecture, and some amenities. Hidden View is aptly named as it has beautiful views and not only from the mountains that surround it but the owners have taken impeccable care of the grounds and gardens making it breathtaking in many ways. It’s clear that there is a lot of thought that went into it including so many different options for a couple to sit outside peacefully and enjoy nature with a glass of wine. The inside is modern but in a very tasteful way and very comfortable. The owners put emphasis into customer service but are not intrusive and just seem to be naturally nice folks. If the gorgeous views, beautiful gardens in a peaceful and comfortable surrounding with modern amenities are not enough, then come for the breakfast. The food was one of the best we have ever had at any b and b. They definitely put a lot of planning, creativity and taste into their breakfast and that only comes from people who take pride in what they do. Added bonus, you are surrounded by va wine country, and so you can bring some good wine back to enjoy around their property.

Our daughter rented this beautiful bed and breakfast for our accommodations for her wedding at a nearby vineyard over Labor Day weekend. This was the most spectacular house with gorgeous mountain and vineyard views. This was a luxurious setting with a salt water pool for relaxing, a koi pond, a walking path, outdoor fire pits, a beautiful patio with an outdoor kitchen and even a hammock. The interior was even more luxurious with 5 amazing bedrooms each with it's own bath, an outstanding very modern and large kitchen, sunroom and sunken living room with a wet bar. They even had a little shop in case you forgot an essential or needed a little snack. The host and hostess were as outstanding as the physical property. They made you feel like family and catered to your every need. Breakfast meal service was delicious! We were fortunate enough to stay in the honeymoon suite. It was truly 5 stars!

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at Hidden view for our 40th wedding anniversary and I must say we were impressed by the accommodations as they were first class! The breakfasts were each amazing gourmet two course meals that left us in awe! We couldn’t be happier with our stay as every detail was taken care of and any need addressed. The heated pool was incredible! The B&B is nestled between vineyards and we felt quite comfortable. Lastly, we feel Cheri and Ray, the host, are now new friends of ours to return to at our next opportunity.

Hidden View Bed and Breakfast is the best inn we have ever experienced. We always stay at Select Registry properties because their standards are very high and we know we can trust them. Hidden View is at the top of our list! Cheri and Ray thought of everything to make our stay not only enjoyable but comfortable and posh. The house is like a mansion that someone built as their dream home and modern. As soon as we drove up the hill to the house, it was like we entered another world. Stunning vistas surround the place from every corner. Beautiful flowers, trees, walking paths, and sitting areas abound. The house is elegant, extremely clean, and well appointed with every amenity. Cheri and Ray have thought of everything from coffee, tea, ice, bottled water, high end linens, soaps, and gift shop to a fire pit, outdoor pool, and patios. The beds are posh and comfortable, some with massage technology, and the softest sheets. It's so quiet there, we could hear the frogs and crickets. We slept so well! The area is in the middle of wine country full of wineries, breweries, and excellent restaurants all within a few miles. They even gave us a map of the area and pointed out the best places to go. Lots of history and full of relaxation and fun. The breakfast was delicious and they were so accomodating to our special dietary needs, which were many. It would be a primo place to have a wedding, anniversary, or family reunion. We just loved our stay and hope to be back very soon. My husband and I just returned for a night to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. One year ago, we rented out all 5 rooms of the B&B for our wedding weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner outside under a clear tent. The caterers found it a perfect set up. Our family staying there during the w/end and both sides of our family's were able to meet one another in a casual atmosphere around the pool during the afternoon the day before our wedding. It was a perfect setting.
They've continued making even more improvements to what we thought was already perfect, last year!? The hosts are truly second to none... They ARE good souls and beautiful, caring, professional people who are fully committed to providing a wonderful experience for their guests. The breakfasts are to die for and are comprised of 2 decadent courses!
Bed is so comfortables and linens are exquisite. Each room is lovely with upgraded, first class private bathrooms.
We really enjoyed our anniversary night there on Thursday, reliving memories and relaxing much more!!! We'll return at least 1x a year. Our family members loved their stay and the hosts almost as much as we do!

Ray and Cheri are amazing and friendly hosts and serve delicious breakfasts. They live in the basement level of this large, gorgeous and immaculate house while the entire main level is for the guest’s use. Other than your well-appointed bedroom and private bath, there are so many other comfy areas that you can cozy up with a book, such as the living room room with a beautiful fireplace, the den with a large flat-screen tv, the scenic 4-season room, or the beautiful outdoor patio and pool area that overlooks the neighboring vineyard. To celebrate New Year’s Eve, they invited us and other guests to join them at a sunset bonfire where they served us local wines. This quiet place is 1st class! It was our 2nd visit, but needless to say, it won’t be our last.
