Great stay! Clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable! Very easy access to Dulles Airport. 24/7 shuttles, and they are punctual!! At my visit I checked in, returned rental car, took rental car shuttle to airport, and hotel shuttle from airport to hotel. 30 minutes to accomplish all. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Considering location it was also a very good value/price.

The staff here during my brief one-night stay were awesome, and a pleasure to speak to and deal with throughout the day. The hotel isn't really within walking distance to much at all, but relatively short drive/ride (including with complimentary hotel shuttle) to many nearby locales. The room was spacious and comfortable, but appeared by be a little bit old. The rooms and halls probably could use an update...but, they were very clean, and more than met my needs.

In a world where many hotel chains use COVID or being green as an excuse to save money, I am happy to report that the Westin Dulles rose above my expectations. Much to my surprise, I did not find a green excuse flyer on my pillow to explain why my room could not be cleaned while I was out. Too many hotels use either ecology or COVID-19 as an excuse to set low expectations for customer service. The Westin Dulles is the first hotel that truly delivered on its commitment to customer service. They cleaned my room to spotless perfection while I was out on business. And when I came back I had clean towels and a freshly made bed to sleep in. Westin elevated their brand by doing what used to be expected. Our bar was lowered by COVID-19. However, Westin still cares enough to overcome the challenges facing the hospitality industry. Well done Westin! Gratefully, Gary

The wifi didn't work (giving a dns error page), the hot water took (no exaggerating) 5 minutes to come to temperature, the towels were torn and threadbare, there was exactly one teabag, and the TV acted like it was on dialup or something, freezing every few minutes. If any of this had been at a low end hotel chain I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but I used to think Westin was a high end brand. I'll know next time that it's been driven into the ground and take my business elsewhere when I have a choice

We came to the Westin for a New Year’s party. We had such an amazing time, and the staff was so helpful checking us into the room quickly and making sure we had everything we needed during dinner. The next morning we went down for breakfast. We were greeted by wonderful Beatriz. She is one of the most friendly people we’ve ever met. She was so hospitable and completely generous with her time and attention to detail. We sat there for about an hour and she attended to us every moment that we needed her. We’re so grateful to have such an amazing experience here at the Westin.

We were here for one night and everyone was super nice. From the person on the airport shuttle, to the front desk, bar, and restaurant. I definitely recommend this place, specially if you speak Spanish. Hispanic staff will treat you very well!!

So we checked in the evening of the 26th for one night. The restaurant is closed very early and there are no restaurants around and no room service after the restaurant is closed. We were told that breakfast was from 7 to 11 am, we got to the restaurant around 10h35 to find out that the buffet was closed at 10h30am and breakfast was a la carte from 10h30 to 11am, nobody from the front desk told us that. I was super disappointed, with the restaurant closing early the night before, I was looking forward to having à good breakfast....well won't be coming back to this hôtel, overrated.

Dear Agnes B, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about your recent stay. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations, as we try our best to communicate all adjustments to our schedules prior to arrival. In fact, we send an email to all bookings immediately so guests know that the hotel restaurant closes at 9 pm rather than our normal 10 pm. The email also details options for delivery services, and there are added notices throughout the building so guests can have options. For those wanting something quick, the hotel even offers a selection of cold sandwiches, beverages, and salads that can be obtained at the Front Desk through the hotel Market. Breakfast in the morning is open until the last seating at 11 am, and the hotel closes the hot buffet at 10:30 am when there are few to no customers. We do not want to leave food for an extended period on the buffet for food safety reasons when it is not being readily consumed and replenished. Offering an ala carte breakfast allows us to provide freshly made items, and guests with breakfast included in the rate can order off the whole menu. Again, I am sorry we did not communicate with you more effectively. You can be sure we will follow up on all your concerns so that others are not disappointed. Oscar Amaya was personable, helpful, courteous, and professional!! The last of my flight was cancelled due to the weather and I had to remain in Washington for 3 days, missing a long overdue Christmas with my mom (last one was 1994)... Oscar's uplifting personality and attitude had a positive effect on a very unpleasant situation! I recommend a raise if he hasn't had one for a while and if he has, a nice Christmas bonus for his wonderful service and for working on Christmas day!
