Where do I even start with this hotel? I’ve stayed here many times pre covid and post covid. It used to be really nice before covid. Now it’s just miserable. 1. BED BUGS! I know this can happen at any hotel but when it happens it’s just devastating. I woke up with bites all over me and when I looked at my mattress in the morning, there was definitely evidence of bed bugs. 2. Airport Shuttle Service: It takes WAY too long to get picked up at the airport when the hotel is only a 6 min drive away. They could really do better. 3. Amenities: The refrigerator is just a ‘cooler’ not a fridge. It WILL ruin your food. There is one microwave that is shared with all of the other guests… gross. Isn’t it fun waiting in a line to heat up your lunch? The restaurant closes early and there isn’t much around. 4. Customer service. Not the friendliest bunch of employees I’ve ever seen. I asked for a blow dryer to be brought to my room and they told me they don’t provide that service. ‘Come get it yourself’ Is apparently their motto. I have been given dirty rooms, occupied rooms, etc. they just don’t do a great job. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, they have given up and don’t seem to care anymore.

This hotel is supposed to have a shuttle to IAD airport every 30 minutes. I have been waiting with other travelers for more than an hour, very disappointed! They do not seems to care if you have a plane to catch at specific schedule !

Stayed here for business near the airport. Shuttle driver right on time coming and going. Nicely updated hotel with big rooms and comfortable beds. Surprisingly big and nice fitness area. Friendly staff. A few restaurants walkable but not many. Good choice near the airport.

I was in the Washington DC area because my friend and I drove up to Richmond because he was purchasing his dream car so I decided to extend our trip a bit longer by heading to the DC area and found this Westin at a really good rate. I checked in via the Marriott app and requested a suite which I was upgraded to. Once I picked up my keys and breakfast vouchers I was off to my room which offered a separate sitting area from the room and a nice bathroom as well. I liked the view of the small pond in the back as well. COVID-19 precautions are in place such as hand sanitizer, mask policies and social distancing in common areas such as the restaurant and elevators. Breakfast comes with my titanium status so I was able to have a full breakfast along with my guest in the restaurant which not all hotels have been doing during COVID-19. I appreciate this hotels commitment to showing their appreciation for my loyalty with Marriott by offering full breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. Staff was very friendly and attentive in the restaurant. I also appreciate the covered parking garage that connects to the hotel which I imagine is wonderful in the winter when it snows or when it’s pouring. Overall I enjoyed my visit and stay at this property.

First review travelling in the COVID 19 pandemic. Finally, a road trip. Couple of customer visits in the IAD area. And lots of places to choose from, most with very appealing rates. Always liked the Westin properties, stay here for one night. And was prepared for desolation with many of the hotel services not available. Completely understandable. The staff and facility seemed to have all the necessary and expected precautions in place. Reception was very informative with what was available on property - not much but tried to make the best of it. Clean room, all the usual amenities. Not sure if the restaurant was open for dinner but did have a very good breakfast. And the place just about to myself. Parking deck out back, easy access to IAD and the Dulles Tollway. Close to the all the Ashburn data centers. Just very desolate. Hopefully get back to close to normal in the near future.
