My husband and I try to stay at the Village Inn every year or so around our birthdays in August. My husband is now disabled. The Motel does have very nice handicapped rooms. And the pool has shallow steps and a sturdy hand rail. It also has a lift. The pool is surrounded by a privacy wall/fence. The motel has... More

I have been staying at the Village Inn for 25 years, it is my go to stop whenever I am traveling 81. The renovations are excellent and good to have a restaurant onsite. Wish I could stay longer to enjoy the decks off the rooms!! The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is always clean and safe. Great for singles,... More

Its a bit off of I81. Nice spot. The room was a nice size but very musty smelling. Luckily I carry spray with me. Room was clean. It was facing the highway so lots of highway noise. Not a restful night for me with the smell and traffic. Maybe a different room would have been better. But I got there... More

We come to Bridgewater, VA about 4 times a year to visit family. It is by far our favorite place to stay. Perfect location between Harrisonburg and Bridgewater. Rooms are clean, with all the necessities you need while traveling... the front desk is very nice and helpful. Last time we stayed(2 weeks ago) I left a new pair of running... More

We had a very nice stay. Staff was excellent and so was breakfast. Everything was very clean. We loved the town also. My granddaughter left her cell phone in the room and they got it back to us. I definitely would stay there every time we go through Virginia.

There weren't a lot of 3or 4 star accommodations listed on TA for this area and this one looked to be the best/safest choice for an overnight stay. It's really an old fashioned motel. Reminded me of traveling years ago. Very very basic but it was clean. And that's very important. Flat screen tv, fridge and microwave too. Certainly nothing... More

This hotel is a Hidden Gem. The front desk clerk, Ben, was extremely pleasant and helpful when we checked in. The room was very spacious and had a flat screen TV, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator. The furnishings are very quaint and we loved the couch with arm covers! You can tell the owners take a lot of pride... More

Equipped with the basics we needed: fridge, microwave, bathtub that doubles as a jacuzzi. Beds are large, rooms aren't as cramped as the typical 2 star hotels. Also located in a very quiet location. This is great value for the price I paid per night!

While traveling through the area, we (family of 5) stayed here in a suite and had an excellent experience. Very quiet and homey place. Pool with hot tub and playground to enjoy. Close to downtown and many places to eat close by.

This is a modern looking motel, we didn't try the pool as it rained while we there. The motel has a restaurant which was reasonably priced - there are no other restaurants close. Breakfast is not complimentary, but again reasonably priced although the service was a bit slow. The motel staff could perhaps have been a little friendlier, lacking enthusiasm... More
