We typically camp on the weekends around UVA sporting events. It is a short drive to Charlottesville and we feel like Misty Mt. is our home away from home! The staff and management are awesome and we love the beautiful countryside in Greenwood, VA.

We stayed in one of the cabins up on the hill this past weekend. It was our first time staying here and we really enjoyed it. The managers were super nice. The cabin was very clean as were the common bathrooms (our cabin didn't have a bathroom or a sink). The only downside is the bathroom for us was a...

Pros: Seem to have a lot for kids, clean, beautiful grounds, nice store, meeting room, super bonfire at night and a lot of activities, beautiful location.. Cons: Tight spots, not a lot of room. Wi-fi was barely there, cable not so great either. We couldn't get anything on our antenna, not the fault of the campground I'm sure it's the...

Well first of all we arrived in separate cars and the clerks were a little less than friendly. Very matter of fact, not real welcoming at all. We are used to KOA and others who are always welcoming and outgoing, happy to see you have arrived etc. After getting set up had to go back to the office to see...

Nice pull through site up on the hill with ample room for our car. Large campground with activities for all. Jumping pillow and swing set, creek for fishing. Near highway 64 so easy access but not near the noise.

It's so hard to find great places to tent camp but this place fits the bill. When you first pull in there is a camp store and water/electric sites. These are your typical wide open field Rv sites and not where I like to pop up my tent. But once you start going up the hill there is a backcountry...

We camped with friends this past weekend in the upper campground. It was shady and surprisingly quiet. There was a bath house and dog walking area nearby. The lower area has some wonderful tent spots as well as RV spots, and there are many amenities for kids (jungle gym, jumping pillow, game room, pool in season). There is a fishing...

stayed in one of the cabins, which was just rustic enough but not too much. the Cabin and Campground are clean, the people are nice, and the surrounding area is beautiful. There was so much to see at the music festival, that we didn't go to the many vineyards close by. But a nice, friendly, clean place

we have been coming here for fourteen years and loved lt. but this Sunday night was the worst night we ever had. the people across from us partyed all night with loud music and yelling to past midnight. We have never heard of a curfew in any campground that allowed this late in the evening. I'm sure everyone here could...
