stayed in one of the cabins, which was just rustic enough but not too much. the Cabin and Campground are clean, the people are nice, and the surrounding area is beautiful. There was so much to see at the music festival, that we didn't go to the many vineyards close by. But a nice, friendly, clean place

we have been coming here for fourteen years and loved lt. but this Sunday night was the worst night we ever had. the people across from us partyed all night with loud music and yelling to past midnight. We have never heard of a curfew in any campground that allowed this late in the evening. I'm sure everyone here could... More

Our motorhome club held our monthly rally here Thursday thru Sunday. The resort was very accommodating in parking us all together. They provided a meeting room for our club functions and group meals. As a group, we took advantage of the resort winery tour with their driver and van. Well stocked camping store, clean restrooms and lots of activities and... More

We were impressed upon driving up and looking around. We liked it so much we made a couple reservations right then and there. We did not realize this would not be quite so enjoyable come full camping season. Once we were in our spot any time we wanted out we had to either walk or drive right through the neighbors... More

We love this place! They have military discounts and fabulous store. Shaded and quiet. Cabins mixed in with RV sites. We had no picnic table but called which was late and within 5 minutes table delivered. Tall trees so no worries about messing up our new roof. They have a pool and golf carts to rent. We will be back!

We had stayed twice at this campground in the past and were very unhappy. There has obviously been a management change and it showed. There have been a lot of improvements. They still have the same issue of the bathhouse for the lower campground being a hike from the sites. This didn't affect us because we are full self-contained and... More

We stayed at Misty Mountain for three nights this August. It is definitely a family/kid oriented place and for that niche, the rating would definitely be higher. But we are two seniors with no kids so there was a bit too much noise and commotion of us. Also, many of the sites needed fresh gravel. There had been quite a... More

We left Misty Mountain a couple of days ago after a very enjoyable stay. We had a spot in the upper area and it was great. The temps were in the 90's but there was plenty of trees to provide shade. Nice place with good connections, water, power, sewage. Nice and peaceful. We did not use the pool as we... More

This was our first visit to Misty Mountain Camp Resort but it will not be our last. A terrific family campground. All facilities and amenities were clean and well stocked. Between the pool, horseshoe pits, cornhole pits, bounce pad, fishing hole, and gem mine there was a ton of stuff for the kids. Not to mention the ping pong and... More

We originally made the reservation for just 3 days and were going to move on to another campground but decided to stay the entire time here. It is a little crowded but the people are very nice. There are a ton of kids having a ton of fun! If we were to go back to this area we would stay... More
