We spent two days at Stoney Creek Resort to enjoy the pond with the kids and visit Safari park. Pros: Friendly helpful staff at checking, store, and entrance gate. It is necessary to follow the passport route if you are a long rv. The road in is full of potholes. The road around the park is just as bad! It was rainy so it was very muddy! There was no cable but I was able to pick up wifi. The water pressure was very low but our electric was... More

Not a destination campground yet, definitely not a resort. Pond is pretty. They are doing a lot of improvements (shower houses, picnic tables, docks), but seem to have a lot going on with perhaps slow progress on all. We spent 2 nights in Stoney Creek RV resort with our 37 ft motorhome to see the Natural Bridge and Caverns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The resort is very wooded , very peaceful and pretty with a cute small pond and the office staff are great. However we will not return because the sites are extremely uneeven , impossible... More
