My family and I just completed a four day weekend at Shenandoah Crossing. We were extremely blessed with beautiful and unseasonably warm weather for this time of year. Although it was warm the outdoor pools still were not open, but we expected this. The indoor pool was over crowded due to this though. Both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs...

The "lodge" is clean, seems well maintained. Single bed rooms are tiny but they have a refrigerator (no microwave)., comfortable and decent ventilation. Restaurant in lodge, in February, only open for dinner. Did not know about indoor pool and hot tub; blast it, until I got there. They charge an $100 retainer (is this a resort thing??) which got refunded...

The cabins were nice on the inside, simple, yet cozy. These cabins are in fact in the woods, very deep in the woods. But it is quiet and there is alot to see nearby. We even took a day trip to Washington DC which is roughly 2 hours away if you are willing to take a day to see some...

We are staying in a Yurt! It awesome ! It's an awesome family environment ! It even has a put out range, indoor and outdoor pool, an arcade and painting for the kids. The yurts are two bedrooms. They even have a general store if you need last minute groceries.

We stayed again at the Shenandoah Crossing near Gordonsville. We came in on a special for a couple of nights at the Lodge. As before we were in a small room. It had a bed, a dresser/closet combo and a bathroom. Very small and almost claustrophobic if any time is spent at all in the room. On the plus side,...

We visited because my husband bought a 3-night stay at BassPro (without me knowing). We stayed for two nights at the Lodge hotel, not in one of the cabins. I will start by being positive ... Pros: beautiful setting with lots of fun, family-friendly outdoor activities. Close to Monticello, wineries, and Charlotesville. The indoor pool was also nice. We ordered...

Cabins were totally adequate, well supplied, and comfortable. They are; however, cabins in the woods. Go there expecting that and you will not be disappointed. Don't miss the museums in Gordonsville and Orange. See reviews on Tripadvisor. Both are excellent small town museums and you will learn much about the history of the area. And, be sure to have the...

I have read reviews for Shenandoah Crossing regarding insufficient lighting, small and/ or out dated/ worn facilities. Let me clear up a few things. Because of the close proximity of some of the cabins, management uses 40 Watt yellow lights for the exterior lighting for minimal disturbance of adjoining cabins. The interior lights were replaced with LED lights to save...

We stayed at Shenandoah (actually currently here) from December 30- January 5. We are bluegreen owners and let me tell you we are extremely disappointed. 1. Upon arrival to the cabin it is small but beds are comfortable and we could live with accommodations but that is where it ends... 2. Bar is closed Monday to Wednesday as well as...

I was disappointed as soon as we pulled up to our cabin. The lighting was inadequate making going up the stairs dangerous. As soon as I opened the door, the smell of grease was extremely evident. The cabin should have been updated a decade ago. The bathroom tub was peeling, rusty and uninviting. The carpet looked dirty and there were...
