I will keep this simple. I am here now. Day 2. I am already looking forward to leaving. Do not think about coming here if you're not ready to climb stairs and/or steep hills to get to your room. Oh, and if you can't see well at night, bring a flashlight. The food is a joke, same thing every day...

Very nice, staff and infrastructure. Beautiful location. Good range of activities (biowatching, cabaret, games, kayak). Food not bad but lack of legumes for vegans (shold be offered every two days at least).

The village hotel is basically very good. The tourist resort entertainers are excellent and the food very good. The team of the hotel very kind and good. The location is splendid. The only negative side is Settemari organization, that changes the hour of the flight some hours before and takes off half day. In our case we anticipated the flight...

The hotel is located in a perfect spot, with private beaches and full of pine trees. There are numerous activities if you like to spend your day in or if you have children, but you should probably start learning italian, as most of the relevant personnel speaks italian (as we found the hotel is a popular resort for Italians). The...

The hotel is well-taken care off. The rooms are simple but ok, especially the ones on the west side with the view. One problem is that they don't have a refrigerator. You have to walk a steep hill to get to the bar/restaurant. There is a great variety of food for lunch and dinner but the quality is average, definitely...

My wife and our two girls (7 and 11) spent a week at Marpounda Village. We live in Manhattan, and love the Greek islands - in the past 10 years we visit a different island every summer. Marpounda has been our only disappointment… Though the hotel is located at what is perhaps the best part of the Alonissos island, it...
