This is a decent Comfort Suites for the stay. The only issue we had was the advertised heated pool was not. Made for a cool swim. We would stay again. The staff was very professional and made you feel welcome.

We booked this based on need and speed. We saw a really low price and were thrilled. We called the hotel directly and got a rate $10.00 lower than Trivago/Booking/Travelocity.

Upon arrival we noticed quickly that the carpet and wall coverings were VERY dated and in need of replacement.
When we got to the room we could tell that it was nice about 10 years ago. The carpet was gross. The desktop had some goo on it.
The bathroom was also in need of a facelift. It had a cheap fiberglass old style bathtub.
My guess is the low rate they charge does NOT allow them enough profit to fix the place up.
Comfort Inns Corporate should stop in and rethink this hotel as part of their chain.
It was cheap $150 a night, but it was more like a $75.00 Cheap Hotel.
Also the pillows were horrible, they were old too. Kind of gross. We won't be back.

Safety Note: The doors on the sides of the building are blocked open with rags because the door key swipers are broken. Very unsecured.

We stayed here for a night. The hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Our room was very nice except there was something sticky on floor in corner like a spilled beverage. The stove burner needs replacing. It was not clean but we didn't need it. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The bed was better than some Hilton properties we visited. I have a bad back. I slept so good, nothing else mattered. We forgot to look at the mattress to see if we could buy one for home. Jetted tub was big and relaxing. I'm a big guy football size and it was roomy.Didn't know about room service they had until leaving. I would of order some chicken fingers. Overall common area were clean and we missed breakfast due to the comfort of the bed. We will be back since family is in the area.

We needed 3 outlets at bedside, for 2 CPAP machines and icing machine for my wife's recent knee surgery. There are only 2 outlets bedside with a floor lamp in the corner not plugged in anyplace, nor any outlets to plug it into. I asked for a power strip, which they couldn't provide so we had to go to Walmart and buy one.

Our reservation was for 4 nites. We asked for daily service, but was told, if you want towels, just come down and ask for them. When I said we want the room cleaned, she replied, "we'll try." For 4 days, that was our daily request, and their response was as minimal as they could provide.

Though they offer handicap parking, anyone and everyone uses those parking spots. Made it tough on my wife, but after seeing how carefree the front desk staff was, it wasn't worth asking them to enforce handicap parking.

The breakfast - isn't anything. they have coffee, and had run out of fruit, etc when we got there. They don't have eggs, toast, waffles, bacon, sausage, etc - because of COVID. After this stay, we stayed at 2 more Comfort Suites, both of which did offer very good breakfasts.

We travel more than 30 days a year. My wife won't stay in this Comfort Suites because of our experience here though we come to the Richmond area annually because of family.

I travel for work weekly and stay in the Innsbrook area. The hotel I normally book with was full for one of the two nights I needed. mainly due to several rooms with broken AC. I was able to book my complete stay with Comfort Suites easily with no issues. I was so glad I made this booking! Austen (The Front Desk Supervisor) was incredibly helpful and courteous. The hotel itself was impeccable. It was clean and inviting My previous hotel of choice had lacked in this area, to the point one of my visits I had to request clean sheets and bedspread as they had not been changed with what they considered housekeeping This was my first experience with a Choice Hotel and I will be booking all of my further weekly trips to Richmond here, without hesitation. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay in this area.

i left behind some items at another hotel. The person i was visiting transferred to Comfort Suites (which he loved more than the first hotel he visited) He left the items i forgot from the previous hotel at the front desk of the Comfort Suites and they kept them safe and sound until I was able to retrieve them. Austin was at the front desk when i was able to pick them up. She was terribly friendly and courteous when i picked them up at nearly 1:30am. I am so happy they were safe because they have a high sentimental value to me personally and im ecstatic they weren't thrown away. Thanks for keeping my stuff safe!

Our company reserved a room at this motel (6 days) as it accepts pets - two small pets. Huge mistake. The dark room was smelly and very humid. The loud a/c unit only further spread the mildew oder. I’m not sure what was worse the carpet which felt tacky from all the Frebreeze or the peeling bathtub. It was bad enough for us to request a different room. The young night manager claimed there were no other rooms available. Upon returning from work/training the first day, we found towels outside the door and were informed that the person assigned to clean the room opted not to do so as there were dogs in the room. Ok, but when we followed up with another young front desk manager, we were told that they would not change the room cleaner and our room wouldn’t be cleaned during our week stay. We asked what could be done and only received a shrug.

Due to our work schedule, they charged us a full day as we departed late afternoon for the Hilton a block away. We gladly paid to get out of there.

I booked a suite with a kitchen and separate living room that was very spacious. Although the kitchen had a regular size refrigerator and a dishwasher, the microwave was small and only 700 watts. There were no utensils, plates, or glassware. Why advertise a kitchen that has no supplies, including no dish soap, detergent for the dishwasher, nor paper towels? The shower was nasty. The hair dryer and bathroom outlets did not work. Stay away!

My daughter and I arrived for the “complimentary” breakfast at 9:00. Breakfast ends at 10:00. We were IMMEDIATELY greeted by the cook with a huff accompanied by an out loud complaint that more people were coming to eat. There were no eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, or waffle mix. As more guests came down, each was greeted with complaints that he had more food coming and that we should be grateful for anything we got! The cook then proceeded to sit on the couch in the lounge and watch television.

At this point, my daughter and I gave up and had fruit. I chose not to give a one star rating, as the housekeeping staff and front desk employees were friendly. When I called the corporate office to complain, I was compensated with 400 reward points…good grief!

This hotel, conveniently located near many restaurants and shopping, is peaceful, welcoming and pristine. Our suite had all the amenities, plenty of towels, and a nice sized fridge. We were so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Free breakfast included in your stay.

What is a typical "hot breakfast" served?

In addition to a typical continental breakfast (pastries, fruits, yogurt, cereal) they had provided a make your own waffle station & on my particular stay they were serving sausage, scrambled eggs & biscuits. You help yourself to whatever you want & as much as you want. A nice perk in the morning, if you're like me...you will appreciate that convenience so you can get on the road & to your destination faster OR maybe just enjoy the ease of a provided meal so that you can start your day quicker.
