This B&B has been restored by Phil & Sandra to be like it was when originally built. Fantastic location on the edge of Front Royal. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Lovely front porch with rocking chairs. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

My partner and I stayed at this warmly welcoming inn for a full week. Sandy and Phillip felt like family and were so informally gracious. We really did not want to leave. The place is magically home-like, the breakfasts are delicious. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests who also seemed to be charmed by this solid and beautiful place...

We came upon this sweet BnB last week while traveling through the area and were very happy that we did. The hosts were amazingly nice, the breakfast was delicious and the sounds of birdsong and distant train complemented it all!! Thank you for a great stay!! If we are ever in the area again, we will stop in for sure...

We are a family of 4 from California who decided to visit Virginia over spring break to soak up some of its beauty and amazing history. After flying into Dulles, our first night was at the Lackawanna B&B. It was an easy drive from Dulles to Front Royal, and then the perfect launching point the next morning for our drive...

I felt very uncomfortable almost as soon as I arrived. I reminded Sandra of an email I had sent more than a week earlier stating that I'd be using a different credit card than the one I reserved with. She said they already ran my card (I've never stayed someplace where they charge you The full amount *before* you've actually...

We took a short trip from DC out to the Shenandoah for a day of zip lining and decided we'd spend just one night in Front Royal. We picked Lackawanna based on the good TripAdvisor reviews and the fact that there was "two night minimum". But after having spent one night, I wish we had just taken 2 anyway -...
