My family and i stayed one night at this very peaceful retreat that is off the beaten path. The rolling hills around the farm are truly beautiful. What was most important to me, however, was the way Caroline went out of her way to help me after I left something important at the farm. She immediately sent it to my... More

We spent a night here in July and were so pleased we did. The house is old and beautiful. Beds are huge and comfortable, the rooms are gorgeous and the host is super welcoming. we ate dinner in nearby Floyd (don't leave eating until too late) and had a delicious home cooked breakfast on the porch watching the hummingbirds fly... Ambrosia Farms is such a quaint B&B. The owners, Caroline and Craig are fantastic host. The rooms are perfect. Nice and cozy and very comfortable. I've stayed here twice and everyone I meet here have become a friend. Caroline makes hands down THE best breakfast and you eat it on the porch watching all the hummingbirds fly by. She is... More

The farm is just lovely! So quiet and peaceful. Heavenly views! Unfortunately we did not get to meet Caroline nor did we get to eat breakfast there as Craig headed out of town when we arrived. But we would stay there again! Comfy quilts, private bath and cool temps in the cabin room. Floyd was an interesting place too. Local... More

Stopped for one night at Ambrosia Farm and had a lovely stay. This is not a 'typical' B&B...it is a charming, rustic farmhouse set far from town. It's true appeal is the tranquility that comes from getting away from the hub-bub of life in the city. We stayed in the main house - which, as it happened, we had all... More

Romantic get away, perfect sunsets, great host and hostess. My hubby was not a B&B believer until we stepped into the marvelous Ambrosia Farm Inn! Now we go to celebrate all the special times in our lives together... from our "Honeymoon Re-Do," to my much-asked-for Annual Birthday Retreat! The breakfasts are a treat. It's a Don't Miss! History buffs will... More

What a great place to stay. Caroline & Greg provide a great B&B in a beautifully restored pre-Civil War home. The hospitality was top notch, as was the food and friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend Ambrosia Farm located in Floyd, VA.

We've been visiting Ambrosia for the past 12 years. Comfortable and relaxing. Caroline and Craig are wonderful hosts, and the breakfast they prepare using locally grown produce is fabulous. From the outside, the B&B looks like a small country house, when you enter, you realize the heart of the structure is a log cabin.

Quiet, peaceful, great breakfasts, a place to unwind and play music. What could be better? Our hosts were away during our visit, but Sally was wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better host! Loved the rural charm, touring nearby Floyd (especially the Country Store), and walking through meadows bursting with wild flowers across from the B&B. A great find!

We overnighted on what was otherwise a somewhat hurried trip north. In spite of drizzling rain throughout our stay, it was perfection. Caroline and Craig were lovely hosts and the accommodations and breakfast left us wishing we had more time to spend. We are already trying to figure out a way to return with Ambrosia and Floyd as our destination... More
