We've been visiting Ambrosia for the past 12 years. Comfortable and relaxing. Caroline and Craig are wonderful hosts, and the breakfast they prepare using locally grown produce is fabulous. From the outside, the B&B looks like a small country house, when you enter, you realize the heart of the structure is a log cabin.

Quiet, peaceful, great breakfasts, a place to unwind and play music. What could be better? Our hosts were away during our visit, but Sally was wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better host! Loved the rural charm, touring nearby Floyd (especially the Country Store), and walking through meadows bursting with wild flowers across from the B&B. A great find!

We overnighted on what was otherwise a somewhat hurried trip north. In spite of drizzling rain throughout our stay, it was perfection. Caroline and Craig were lovely hosts and the accommodations and breakfast left us wishing we had more time to spend. We are already trying to figure out a way to return with Ambrosia and Floyd as our destination... More

Wonderful hosts, delicious (and big!) breakfast made with local(literally from the backyard) ingredients, homey atmosphere. Very close to everything around Floyd, although the B&B is 5 min driving from "downtown" Floyd.

Wonderful couple run the b&b, great old home, breakfast delicious. This is the reason to stay in a b&b truly home away from home. Thanks Caroline & Craig for creating a special place to come and get away from it all.

Stayed one night while travelling the Blue Ridge Parkway. Caroline and Craig were perfect hosts with plenty of great advice, fascinating historical knowledge and a superb breakfast. We stayed in the cottage along with another couple and found it to be all that you could hope for. Hope to be back again some time soon.

We stayed one night in the cablin. It was perfect! The extreme darkness, total silence and coolness was a thrilling peaceful way to sleep. In the morning, the sun woke us via the skylight window at the top of the cabin. Caroline and Craig are caring people with genuine spirits which makes it easy to spend time with them. The morning... Caroline...Barry and I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality. We spent a wonderful, serene evening in this fabulous inn full of history and gorgeous antiques. The main house is exquisite and full of charm from olden days. It is tucked away in a valley not far from the Parkway and simply picturesque. We sat on the front porch and... More

We have stayed at Ambrosia Farm 3 times and have loved every minute. The house is full of history - dates back to early 1800s - and is the kind of place you don't want to leave but you should - there is just too much to see outdoors! Caroline and Craig suggested a great place to hike up to... More

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ambrosia Farm! The inn-keepers are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, and their historic farmhouse B&B is as special as they come! The house, and cabin are absolutely beautiful, and highly impressive with so much history (built in the 1800s), and beauty, and in a rustic-yet-refined style that you simply... More
