If you are staying at the B&B, Fincastle Winery offers a peaceful escape for the length of your stay. Not far off 81, the B&B is very comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The hosts Georgia and Dave go the extra mile; they even prepared a full breakfast for us prior to an early morning... More

I really enjoyed our time here! The owners are so friendly and I loved the conversation. We went on a beautiful but clear Winter day and enjoyed lunch on the terrace. There is a STUNNING view of the Blue Ridge from here. Such a peaceful place. The wine is fantastic. Saturdays are their busy day so try to plan a... More

Staff person unprepared, no crackers, no pitcher of water, charged $5.00 per person for a limited tasting (not all wines were available and were not told beforehand!). Wines mediocre at best. Parking is awful. Extremely steep incline leading to 2 parking spaces. We barely made it up in four wheel drive. Watched another vehicle pull up and turn around. There... More

We spent Labor day weekend hitting wineries in The area and this one did not stand out in anyway, shape or form. The Vineyard is just average, the tasting room a little bit less than average and the Wines were only just okay. Nothing spectacular or even memorable. The Lady doing our tasting was less than friendly or personable. Might... More

This Inn is located off the beaten path in a very bucolic setting. We enjoyed the relaxing rockers on the front porch, the solarium, and the delicious breakfast. The innkeeper has a great library to enjoy and gives guests plenty of privacy. There are many beautiful antiques and it was a treat to use sterling silver for breakfast. The West... More

Georgia and Dave were our hosts for our evening at Fincastle Vineyard, Winery and Bed and Breakfast. Their 80 acre farm in the rolling, lush, green, Shenandoah hills provided an Eden-like, idyllic setting for our evening. It was a lovely visit with well appointed, comfortable rooms, both east and west. The Bed and Breakfast is actually secondary to the winery... More

We stopped in at this B&B on our way back from New Jersey to Tennessee and found it absolutely charming. It is set in beautiful countryside--very peaceful and quiet--and our room was very well appointed. Tea and coffee are available at all hours, which is particularly nice, as I get up early and like a cup of coffee right away.... More

Stopped in on our way to Roanoake-nice property slightly off the beaten track. The tasting room/gift shop is pretty small and I was surprised by the number of people that were there near closing on Saturday evening. Our host was friendly and nice, rather quiet overall. I liked one of the wines enough to enjoy a glass on the patio;... More

This B&B is part of a vineyard/winery. The house is very nice, as was the room (East Room). We enjoyed an evening on the porch. The wine is not bad, and we enjoyed our complimentary wine tasting. The breakfast was good and we had a nice visit with the owner. Especially enjoyed the hummingbirds as we sat on the porch... More

My husband and I have stayed at Fincastle Bed and Breakfast twice now, and have had a wonderful experience both times. Georgia and David are the nicest hosts and attend to all of your needs without being "in the way". Each time we have stayed here, we have stayed in the East Room. The bed is comfortable and everything is... More
