Dear everybody It is bad that nobody at the reception was there when we arrived, it's the cook that we find after 10 min who did our check in. Who wasn't very welcoming at all. Didn't tell us that they will be a wedding with music until very late at night with some boom boom boom ( just told us...

Beautifully located in the Vaudois country side, the Château Salavaux is a wonderfully kept historic castle over 400 years old. There are three areas for rooms that are TV and WiFi free. The perfect place to shut off and have a digital detox. If you still need it, there is WiFi in the lobby. The rooms are very spacious and...

I've read the reviews and to be honest I can see where some of the complaints are coming from, although I didn't experience any rude staff. I was there for business and this isn't a business hotel, but that isn't their fault. We needed a breakfast at 7 and they don't serve until 8, however the opened up especially for...

The building is quite welcoming and my room (#16) was nice and quiet. I'd rather like finding a WIFI connection available also in the room together with a TV - I was there in quite a rainy night to do with literally nothing to do. Restaurant was extremely good, my filet was superb even though not so cheap.

Stayed here for one night to treat my Mother in law. What a mistake. Our rooms had no air conditioning and tiny windows. They overlooked the courtyard dining area,so not only could we not sleep in our rooms as they were so hot like an oven, but we where kept awake by a large party celebrating loudly underneath us. I seriously...

Very disappointed with very poor follow up of our reservation. We reserved ( and it was confirmed by the hotel) a garden suite for an elderly person without steps. The Garden suite had by the time we arrived ( 2 o'clock or early check in time) been given to another customer and the alternative room had several steps without hand...

An old mansion (13-16th century) remodeled in contemporary style. Comfortable, full of charm, great value. OK it is a three star, bring your bathroom products and your shower cap; no tv, no internet in the rooms. Everything is however well thought, full of clever touches and tasteful. No room service and you will probably have to carry your luggage up...
