This is a very nice family run motel that is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is not a Holiday Inn. It is not a Days Inn. It is a very reasonable priced clean, comfortable room, and the place is run by nice, friendly people. Just the perfect place to stay when your are riding your motorcycle on the... More

Booked a room for a weekend and got confirmation email, then happily made all our travel plans. Later we get an email (from the travel agent) that says Country View Inn at Fancy Gap won’t be able to honor this reservation and accommodate you on the dates of your planned stay. Travelers should definitely use caution when booking this hotel... More

A bed and bath...Was all we needed and what we got. Rooms were clean albeit dated but in reality didn't make a difference. Would not be the place for someone wanting the "sterility" of chain motel as little knick knacks all over the place as privately owned. Ground floor room was a bit noisy due to late arrivals who weren't... More

Stayed two nights while visiting "Mayberry NC". It is well off the beaten path, but if you are looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep that is reasonable priced this is it. The Inn is unique and quirky to say the least. The bed was very comfy, pillows ok,bathroom was clean, shower nice and powerful with lots of hot... More

First don't. Book online, call its $8.00 cheaper. This place is creepy, out in the booney's and up a long road on a hill. When I got here there was a sign in the office that read "pick up the phone and wait till somebody answers" along with a sign that read "be nice or go home" the guy who... More

Last minute decided to go to Mt.Airy to enjoy the long weekend of the 4th of July. It was around $40. It looks strange from the outside. The odd thrift store selling old dolls and clowns is old. But the employee was mowing when we pulled up and promptly came in to help us check in. Room was dated but... More

Stained mattresses (gross), carpet probably original. Non-smoking room, but my clothes all smelled like smoke when I left. Sheets and bathroom were clean - the place just needs a serious overhaul. I should have kept driving.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. on this visit the owner was in the hospital and the daughter was helping out. Our room needed a fresh coat of paint and not so worn out carpeting. They do not have so much as a rail for disabled people . We were on the first floor and... More

This is a very odd motel, in sort of a weird way, but the room was clean, sheets were clean, and the price was right. I walked into the lobby, which looks sort of like a thrift shop gone wrong. The smell of perfume was overwhelming to me (I am highly sensitive) but service was prompt and she allowed me... More

We were looking for just a place to sleep overnight to break up our long drive from central New York to Savannah, and this motel turned out to be the perfect spot for us. It was right off I-77, just before entering N Carolina, clean , comfortable and inexpensive ($51.29 including tax for a non-smoking king!), with a decent restaurant... More
