I don't typically write reviews but we just loved Fox Hill so much I had to share! The new Inn owners Julie and Charlie were so lovely and welcoming right from the start! They made the Cowboy Suite welcoming for us and our dog, including little "gifts" from their dog Obie! The kitchen suite was perfectly stocked with everything we needed and sparkling clean. Charlie's breakfasts were TO DIE FOR amazing, with fresh ingredients grown right on the property and from other local farms. Julie was lovely and so helpful with guiding us to fun activities like local hikes, vineyards, and breweries, all of which had gorgeous views! We cannot wait to come back again! PS- while dogs are not able to come into the indoor dining area, you are able to dine with them on the back porch! It was lovely sitting outside each morning with our pup.

This is an awesome place for a getaway, food and company we're primo! Their recommendations for The Palms and the Lexington Carriage tours was spot on. We'll definitely be back! Looking forward to walking down to the creek next time.

There are so many great things about this bed and breakfast. Julie and Charlie are so hospitable, welcoming, and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed getting to know them and highly enjoyed their gourmet breakfasts. There is so much good food and a lot of it is from their gardens and local businesses. We stayed in the Cornwall suite, which was quite spacious and the air conditioning can easily handle a hot Virginian summer day. There was even a nice welcome package including treats for our dog Woodrow. The B&B sits on a farm (bonus: with views of mountains), so there is plenty of space to walk around including along their cornfield. The location is also great as it's only a short drive away from Lexington, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Staunton, and Shenandoah National Park. Lastly, they are taking the proper precautions with the pandemic, so look no further for your vacation to get away.

What is there not to like about Fox Hill Bed & Breakfast Suites? Starting with Julie, Charlie, and Obie (their beautiful German Shepard) they all made us welcome including our four-legged companion Rommel. The rooms are immaculate and you can tell that so much thought went into every detail including a delicious fresh breakfast to start the day. Obie even had a welcome bag for Rommel! Close proximity to Lexington, to Natural Bridge, wineries, hiking trails, and so much more. We highly recommend Fox Hill Bed & Breakfast Suites.

Our 2 night stay designed to give ourselves a chance to decompress was a huge success. Every part of our stay - including the gracious hosts Julie and Charlie, the spacious and so, so comfortable room, the delicious breakfasts that showcased fruits and vegetables from the B&B’s garden, the beautiful 38 acres with water features and hidden “sit and chat” spots, the lovely views, and the dog-friendly environment - supported our efforts to relax. While there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area, we chose to spend most of our time on site. It was the right choice for us - this was a perfect getaway!
