Fox Hill B & B is a delightful place - a chance to stay on a beautiful farm, visit with horses, walk on a well-kept trail, and eat delicious breakfasts: in short, a place to unwind. We've stayed at Fox Hill multiple times, but this was the first time since Julie and Charlie became the innkeepers. We are delighted to report that they have continued to have high standards of hospitality, and the inn is still in a place of beauty. They have continued to make improvements to the property (we noticed we were eating breakfast on a new deck), and added their own touches, including selling local products - wine from Rockbridge Vineyards, local maple syrup, and honey from their own bees. Charlie cooks amazing breakfasts, again with local ingredients, eggs from their chickens, and homemade butter. We were pampered and felt like Julie and Charlie cared about every guest. Rooms all have exterior doors, so you can manage quite safely in the pandemic. There are two large propane heaters on the deck, so even though it was cold our second morning we were able to eat outdoors. If it is necessary because of weather to have breakfast indoors there are tables spaced at a distance apart. Our room was well-appointed, and we have no complaints about anything - except that we had to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fox Hill. We received such a warm greeting. I really appreciated their help organizing a surprise bouquet of flowers for my wife, and even helping us book last minute couples massages in our room. Our dog even had towels set aside for him and a few treats when we got there. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful to walk, and it was fun for our dog to say hello to their horses on the property. The breakfasts are all amazing! Julie and Charlie really made us feel at home for the four days we were there, and they made great recommendations for things to see in the area. This was our first true bed and breakfast experience and it set the bar pretty high!

We stayed in the Cowboy Haven suite next to the stable with our two Border Collies; excellent kitchen-bedroom suite with a sitting porch and open yard for well-behaved dogs. A quiet and scenic view from every prospect including a creek and fields of hay and corn, and hilltop meanderings. The owners are exceptionally attentive to comfort and cleanliness, with a full “savory or sweet” breakfast each morning, frequently served outside on the backyard deck. Our suite had comfortable sofa and queen bed with a shower-bathroom. It was a perfect set-up for our stay!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Fox Hill Bed and Breakfast! It had everything we were hoping for - beautiful views and walking trails, lots of nature, and nearby hikes. We loved getting to meet the horses, and even were able to feed them with some horse cookies, which was a bonus! In addition to the natural beauty of the property, Charlie and Julie are wonderful innkeepers, and provided excellent service, recommendations on activities, and delicious breakfasts. Both days we were treated to delicious food including fresh fruit, a pastry, and a main course! Additionally, Charlie and Julie were very accommodating of vegetarian meals, which was much appreciated! I would love to come back and would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat out in nature - we had a wonderful time!
