Julie is amazing (so is Charlie lol). Very friendly and welcoming. The place is comfortable but just fancy enough. We loved our weekend stay. Had fun feeding the horses too! There’s plenty to do around the area

Julie and Charley are wonderful hosts and their property is outstanding. We spent several days in the area and our stay with them was the best of the trip, hands down. We're looking forward to staying with them again next year.

This B&B is awesome. It is set out in the country with a beautiful mountain setting. The rooms are beautiful. The land is beautifully landscaped. There are numerous areas to take a long walk. They have both horses and chickens on the property. The horses are absolutely beautiful and well cared for. There was an enclosed porch to sit on, and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and a large deck outback to sit and watch the birds and wildlife. Again the rooms are beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. I wasn’t feeling good one day and they made a special breakfast for me. I’m not sure other B&Bs what I’ve done the same. The host and hostess Charlie and Julie were awesome. They make you feel right at home. They are what makes this place of special. They make you feel like you belong there. They both seem to enjoy helping and blessing others. I highly recommend this B&B if you’re traveling through Virginia. You’ll be truly blessed.

We stayed at Fox Hill B&B on a dreary December weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The Meadow View room was very comfortable and had pretty much anything you could possibly need. The land was lovely to admire and walk around on, and our city dog absolutely adored having so much space right outside the door. Julie and Charlie were the perfect hosts! Breakfast was the best we've had in a long time, they made themselves available if needed, and had excellent recommendations for the surrounding area. They were also just incredibly thoughtful - all the little details were noticed and appreciated, and our dog was very excited about the little bag of treats upon arrival! And as a cherry on top, they sell super cute mugs with their logo, and now I have a new favorite mug! Cannot recommend Fox Hill B&B highly enough. We will definitely be back whenever we're coming to the area!

We stayed in the Stargazers suite and enjoyed the night sky. In the morning, the breeze rustled the grass in the sun while horses grazed on the hillside. Adding in a home-cooked meal, pleasant company, and a touch of soothing music we savored a quiet, beautiful moment that was a wonderful way to begin a day. Our visit was too short. Two or more nights is recommended. The B&B is super clean, well-appointed, and free of stressors. Thinking of it now, I feel more relaxed already.

If you want to watch deer, turkey, and feed the horses treats all with the backdrop of the blue ridge mountains then fox hill is the place for you. With top notch hospitality from Julie, Charlie, and their dog Obi, they will make you feel right at home and never want to leave. You will love the cozy outdoor seating, multiple fireplaces, and outstanding food. Comfortable beds, plush towels, and toiletries are some of the best things you look for when staying at a bed and breakfast. Enjoy the views from every room and balcony with a fresh cup of coffee. Local honey from their bee hives are available for purchase as are their beautiful coffee mugs.

Wow! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Fox Hill Sept 24-26. We booked in mid-August and I admit to being concerned about the dated room pictures (they have since been updated) and dog hair/smell as they are pet friendly. Boy was I wrong! Julie greeted us and gave us a short tour and showed us to our room. As soon as she left my wife exclaimed that the room was much nicer than pictures showed. And, talk about clean! Our room and the Inn smelled great and Julie and Charlie are impeccable cleaners. Great breakfasts too! They owned a restaurant in N VA so they know what they are doing on the kitchen. We only snacked between breakfast and dinner because there was plentiful, good food. We've recommended Fox Hill to several people already and I'm sure that we will return.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from the city and this was the most perfect B&B that we could have found! Julie and Charlie are fantastic hosts and incredibly kind people. The food was delicious and they made our stay so comfortable with our dog. We got to build a fire on their property one night and had a beautiful, clear view of the stars and the rolling meadows around us. We will definitely be back! I wish I could give this place more than five stars - we highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway!
