We had a great experience here! The first room assigned to us smelled musty, but they switched us to a better room immediately! The room was clean and comfy and quite large for the price we paid. The staff were kind and accommodating. Parking was free, which was hard to find in a hotel in this area. Breakfast was great! We would stay here again!

Centrally located for excursions in Fairfax, Centreville, etc. Large hotel with modern amenities. Hilton just acquired this property (had been a Hyatt), so they are still working on the transition (can’t use digital keys yet, etc), but the staff was efficient and friendly.

Was a little concerned about staying here, but figured for one night it would be OK. In fact, it was fine. Check in was easy enough. Asked for a room in a quiet place without regard to the bed type. Got sent to a fourth floor room right off the elevator lobby, above the hotel entrance, but to my surprise it was very quiet. Clean, too. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, plenty of hot water and pressure. Yes, it’s an older property and some TLC is in order. But at the right price wouldn’t hesitate to return.

No hot water in shower. It was luke-warm. Called maintenance and they were not helpful. Quite disappointing to say the least. In addition, had to wait more than five minutes for elevator because only one was working.

It was good enough for a night but would not stay longer as the property is dated. I like the fact that the parking is free, but I would say that for the condition of the property, I would stay elsewhere. Although the rooms were clean and the breakfast I ordered was pretty good, as was the coffee. I would just pass for the simple fact that you could get a newer hotel at a similar price point nearby.

Before I get to the bad, I'll start with the good. I usually stay at another chain and their mobile key never works. The mobile key and check-in, check-out process were a breeze. Not one glitch. Other than the housekeeper knocking on my door at 8am though I had a privacy hang tag displayed on it, it was a completely contactless visit which is the kind I like. The grounds of the hotel are nice and I was surprised how quiet it was considering the interstate runs behind it. I paid the upgrade for a room with panoramic windows because I like a lot of light and was welcomed by a pretty view of the trees. Everything in the room appeared to be in working order. The pool is closed for the next few months but I knew that when I booked so I had no issue with that. Now for the bad. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this hotel fell very short in that regard. Coming down the hallway to the room, it didn't look like the hall had been vacuumed in some time and there were stains on the carpet including at least one stain that was bigger than a basketball so housekeeping had to have seen it. It wasn't fresh and had clearly been there for awhile. The hotel room was in need of a very good dusting. There was so much dust on the bedside lamp that I swiped my finger on it and there was a clear, thick path through the dust. There were crumbs and some sort of dried liquid on the bedside table, so that was pretty gross. The TV was huge which was impressive but the remote looked very similar to one I had about 15-20 years ago and did not have modern features. The pillows were surprisingly comfortable, surprisingly because the mattresses were awful. I had a room with two beds and both mattresses were equally bad. I actually would have left after all these observations but the sheets were clean and I was only going to be there about 18 hours so I stayed. However, I didn't get to enjoy a nice hot shower in the morning because the water never got hot. This hotel was probably amazing at some point but it is in desperate need of TLC, and management oversight and housekeeping with an attention to detail. I won't stay here again in its current state but would in the future if things improved.

You can tell the interior was recently renovated. Rooms were spacious and and in excellent shape. Pool still under renovation but that’s perfectly ok given the great room rate we got in early November for a weekend. Right off the highway, free and plentiful parking.

Hotel is in a lovely setting. Travel to the area often. Very rarely leave a negative review. However, Front Desk personnel are either not properly trained or simply indifferent to customer service. If they make obvious mistakes on your bill, they will try to ignore all efforts in correcting their errors. Not worth the hassle, will never stay there again and will not recommend to others.

I recently booked 4 rooms here for a business trip. Overall the stay was disappointing and subpar for the rate we paid. For starters, the property was nowhere near sold out this past weekend and as a Hilton Diamond member I was told at 4pm that my room was "not ready." Then upon arrival to the room I noticed a large white stain on the grey sofa in the room. It appears to be paint but it's odd how a white paint stain would get on the couch when it did not appear the walls were painted in some time. Seemingly lucky to just get a room, I did not raise a complaint about this. The real downfall came the next day when I asked for shaving cream to be left for me while housekeeping was there. I confirmed this with Ellie and she even replied saying the room would be refreshed. Then I come back at 7pm to nothing done and no shaving cream left for me. I could understand maybe they forgot the shaving cream but there were no towels, no trash removed and the bed was still undone. So I called down to the front desk and asked what happened. They told me "no housekeeping unless requested." No one told me this at check-in nor is it posted anywhere. But regardless, Ellie had confirmed the room would be refreshed so where was the disconnect? Luckily, I happened to see a housekeeping manager in the hallway and was able to get some towels from her. I again asked about the shaving cream and she radioed to a gentleman who said he would bring it up. Of course, it never arrived. Lastly I will mention that the young lady bartender can really use some training. I understand we all are beginners at some point but it seems she has never taken a bartending class in her life. Every drink we asked for, she had to consult the other bartender on how to make it. Even for a vodka martini ....
