We had a great stay at this Pension which has huge assets. Already its smiling staff, available and pleasant, then its beachfront location in a beautiful setting and also its decoration and cleanliness.
The room was very nice, decorated simply but elegantly. Small disappointment for the view, the photo shows a sea view when in fact it is remote but the angle of view is misleading (and that is misleading). The bedding is comfortable and the large shower is top. Finally the breakfast is really good, diverse and hearty.
For public areas, not too crowded around the pool, we always had room, deckchairs and beds are comfortable and everything is very well maintained.
The Inn’s problem lies in the bar/beach area. Already the developed beach is overexploited: all the deckchairs are glued to each other. Then the bar is full of people, and with quite loud techno music from morning to night (moreover the upscale rooms are next door, I didn’t understand why...)
This gives the Impression that the Inn is trying to have a high-end location relaxing on the one hand and trendy festive on the other. The two are quite incompatible, and it would be nice to choose.

Amazing hotel and view, restaurant food was great, the neighing restaurants were amazing as well. This hotel provided the best service of any hotel I’ve stayed at ever. The front desk staff Elizabeth, Vasiliki, Maria and Alie were so very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Also, the massage therapist Natalia was great. I highly highly highly recommend this hotel.

We’ve been all over the world at many different boutique & 5 star resorts. I can confidently say that Artemis was one of the few that really blew us away. The grounds are kept immaculate, all of the staff were warm and welcoming, service was all top notch, & the location is perfect.
Room: If you’re able to swing it, the “Signature Suite with Sea View & Hot Tub” is top tier. The views are stunning, the room was great, and the “hot tub” which really was more of a small jetted pool that never gets hot is perfect after a day on the beach or a nice night cap. You’re one of 6 rooms that are overlooking the ocean and only a few steps away from the beach. The only issue we had was that our shower drain wouldn’t drain well, so we had to rush through our showers before the floor flooded into our room. (We did have someone come to fix it but it wasn’t fixed)
Grounds/Property: Location was great. 15 minute drive from the ferry port and located directly on the beach. So close at times the waves are practically touching the property walls. The view is gorgeous, the grounds are always very clean, and the overall vibe was exactly what you’d expect for a relaxing Greece getaway. Very exclusive feel.
Beach: The water is beautiful. We came mid Sept and the water was very warm. The beach itself is not “rocky” but it does have a good amount of pebbles. After 2-3 days you start to really feel it on bare feet. There are a few different options to lounge from ranging from standard cushioned beach chairs, bean bag type loungers, and day beds that resembled a personal cabana all a few steps from the sand.
Overall our stay here was next to perfect, it completely surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Check in was seamless, the views were beautiful, and everything was amazing. I’ll list a few summarized pointers below, but do not hesitate to book here ESPECIALLY if you’re going for the sea view room.
Tips/Misc: -The “shuttle” service is €40 one way down to the port area. Food options get old quick if you’re spending 3+ nights so it’s nice to go down to the other restaurants. If you opt for a taxi back you’ll save around €10-15.
-For the most part there was no problem getting chairs on the beach BUT they do allow outside guests to come in and rent chairs for the day so get down early to avoid missing out. They’re free for guests, but we saw some couples have a hard time finding seats later in the morning.
-Renting a car through a hotel was convenient, but the rate was higher than quotes in town. We paid around €100 for the day for a small car.

I struggled with how to rate this resort as it's really a mixed bag. We stayed here for 5 days and at the end, I have to give it an "average" rating. Pros: Nice staff, helpful with issues (we had a problem with our shower and someone was there in minutes to address it), breakfast is very good, and the location was beautiful and a lot of fun if you enjoy snorkeling. Room: decent size, great AC, good bed, and decent Wi-Fi (not great, but good enough). Cons: Everything is very expensive and there is nothing here except a few restaurants - be prepared to spend a lot on food. I have to agree with another reviewer who said the Artemis website is deceptive. We had an ocean front room with a private pool (which is just a hot tub that doesn't heat up). The website makes it look somewhat private, but it isn't at all. People are walking by your outdoor pool area constantly and there was even a lot of hotel staff back and forth all of the time. I could look over the balcony to the rooms below, so they had no privacy either (see pics). In other words, it's just not as nice as it appears to be online. Also, our private pool was filthy the entire time we stayed (yes, I could have asked and they would probably have cleaned it, but at this price point, I shouldn't have to ask). The room was nice and nicely decorated, although it had some odd design flaws (no closet, no lighting over bathroom vanity, no larger mirror in bathroom to get ready in front of, no towel hooks, or places in the shower to put shampoo and such - just an odd design). In the end, we enjoyed our stay here, but I'm sorry to say, it's just not worth the price point and the resort isn't as nice as it appears online.

NO value for money… 600€! for a normal room…with no Tv in Greek channels, one water only in the mini bar, no telephone connection to call to the reception and to room service and an awful smell from the bathroom every single day from 4 days that we stayed. To rent a car it was 100€ plus 5€ for security reasons.!!! When in the center for the same car it was half price. Btw their air condition in the car was not working properly but they refused to understand the problem! The breakfast… was normal… very well baked( burned) and when I ask for Greek coffee they answer that they are waiting the beach bar to open and they serve after 9 o’clock. When I ask for a piece of fresh cheese they answer that this is fresh and we cut it in the morning, ( it was hello-brown on the top) and we can not serve something else. Btw this was the answer in every client that they ask something more. “Sorry from the kitchen they inform me they can not do it” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Very beautiful island but next time we will go in an apartment breakfast from the bakery by far much better. Or “Angeliki” gelateria much better breakfast and value for money. I’m Adamadas city center. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our 10 day Greece trip. Milos was our favorite island and Artemis Seaside Resort was a huge contributing factor.
Pound for pound, Artemis is the best all-around resort I've ever stayed at.
The resort boasts unique wood architecture, gorgeous rooms, and breathtaking balcony views of an infinity pool cascading off into beautiful Aegean sea.
Giant pillow lounge chairs line the beach under a cluster of cabanas. The kind restaurant staff is attentive and anticipates your needs.
The restaurant's food was very good and comparable to other restaurants off the resort. The breakfast buffet had a diverse selection of high quality foods and drinks.
The front desk/concierge were extremely professional, accommodating, kind, and attentive.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Artemis to anyone visiting Greece and Milos. If, and when, we come back to Greece, Artemis Seaside Resort will be booked again.

I've been in the best hotels in the Aegean for 25 years on all the islands, and I score strictly. After 2016 and one in Patmos as well as one in 2023 in Tinos that we will probably come back and here I consider Artemis a clear 5ARI although a small whisper I will mention at the end 1-Fantastic breakfast (marriot level and above), awesome sea location and high level beachbar, gourmet and good gourmet restaurant cuisine, spacious junior suite and despite the direction towards adults only serves few families. Prices are high at the right level however but the Cyclades of this level the most sought after place in Europe, expected . I would put 6 if there were if when I called because we always close early from February they gave me the possibility of more choices than the awesome ones that they have and sold on the beach and they did not give me only 3 ,I always stay with a pool in the room where I go. I wish all the investments in the Aegean were like this!

This place exceeded expectations. When we arrived very late after a very rough ferry ride we were exhausted and just wanted in our room, so our individual converter ge checked us in in our rooms, which made all the difference. Our room loooked like the pics online and was perfect, especially since it was our last island this trip. We had perfect views of the ocean from our deck which also included a hot tyb and hammock. The beach beds right in the beach were comfortable and made for a great experience. The only two drawbacks in my opinion are at breakfast you can’t get a specialty coffee until after 9 when the bar opens up and service from the hotels beach bar while you are lounging by the beach in the beds that surround it was not great- had to flag a waiter down every time I wanted something, left empty glasses and food plates would just walk by then and nit even look at them-but neither of those things took away from our overall enjoyment of Artemis.

We came as outside visitours, and wanted to use the hotel faciliteter for a Day. It Was extensive. We had to pay 70 € for two sunbeds and 50 € for one person dip in the pool. We stayd for 7 hours and hade som food and the Total for 2 persons came to 98 € × 2.

Beautiful hotel that takes rules for covid in place. All the staff are wearing a mouth shield and there are hand sanitizers everywhere. The room is nice but there is not much place to put your clothes and you find yourself keeping your luggage open during your stay, could be better! In another note, the breakfast is served in the room or by the pool because of Covid, they give you the choice and you have to fill a form the day before, nice for safety and stop spreading germs instead of keeping a buffet were a lot of people would have touched the same spoon or fork to served themselves. We took ours in our room, the only thing is there is no option for a refill and the food should have been covered to be delivered in the rooms. The staff keeps you well hydrated with free water bottle every time you sit in a public area. We personally enjoyed our room, our private terrace and the beach beds more than the pool area.

Absolutely.. there are ground floor accommodation with sea views plus there is lawn that your toddler can play on ...as all this area is gated.. perfect for kids while you sit bacck and relax. I think they have baby sitting available if you want s date night with your hubby. We saw a staff member babysittting a couples toddler. You won’t be disappointed in this place as they are very family orientated. It’s perfect I think.. enjoy your stay
