I was very impressed during my visit to Camp Wilderness. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights... Saturday-Monday, and we had a Deluxe Cabin. These cabins are really nice! Maybe it's because I don't go camping a lot, but my family and I all enjoyed the amenities that were included here in the cabin. There's a living area...

We've had an amazing time here! The new playground is a great addition. Can't say enough about the staff...they go the extra mile. Cleanest bath house I've ever seen at a campground. Highly recommend.

We stayed here three or four times. Every time we stay the campground is very nice and well maintained. We here to stay here with a family of five so we can go to the park. The kids like the paved roads to ride a bike's. The playground is relatively new. And the pool is nice. This has a very...

Had a great stop off I-95 for one night. Full hookups on a fairly level spot. Lots of room. Only issue was locating the entrance. Go by the Kings Dominion Amusement Park a little down the road. There is a KOA sign posted by the road--turn right here. If you are headed north fuel is available at exit 104 in...

Stayed overnight on way back from Florida. About five other rigs in park due to off-season. Sites newly concreted with full hookups and bathrooms are immaculate. This campground has many amenities and is next to Kings Dominion Amusement Park. The only thing I found odd has from 3pm Friday to 8am Monday no one was in the check-in office! Other...

Overnight stop on our way South. One of, if not the cleanest campground I have ever been to. Arrived after dark, an envelope with our spot and map was waiting for us. Due to being very off season, there were only 2 other campers there, both of which beat us out in the AM. Took a late night stroll with...

We stayed in an RV on campsite 186 (premium site). The campground is clean and well-kept. The spots are a bit tight to get into (we have a 45 ft 5th wheel), and very close together. The shuttle bus over to Kings Dominion was great, and we never had to wait long. The only thing that stops me from giving...

Love this place---love the cabins---love the convenience of getting to park via shuttle--a very clean, neat cabin---looks are deceiving--sleeps 10 very comfortably--unless weather is bad you won't be in cabin except to sleep---Its a littel pricey for a one night stay---but the experience is worth it!

I thought "cabin?" but this little cabin exceeded my expectations! It is clean and so pretty and very sizable! There were only four of us but 10 can fit easily! Warm water, tv, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. And of course a grill to each cabin outside! Two minute rude to Kings Dominion . Beats a boring hotel any day....

I cannot say enough good things about this location. We actually began camping here last fall when we purchased our new to us camper. We had full intentions of going to the amusement park while there however we enjoyed the relaxation of being at the campsite so much we never made it to the park. We travel with two dogs...
