My husband and I stayed one night and were pleased. You go down a gravelled road to reach this older home that is situated on 10 acres. The outside of the home was nice, but inside the furniture was spectacular, much of it European and there were beautiful paintings throughout the home. Pat, the innkeeper, was very helpful and had things organized and easy to find. We were going out that night but would have furnished appetizers to go with wine we may have brought with us at any time. Asked about allergies before we arrived and when we would want breakfast the next day. We were served a sumptuous breakfast, and there was no feeling of rush to leave. The B & B had fine food, warm hospitality in a peaceful garden setting near Deltaville, Urbanna and the Chesapeake Bay.
super comfy place to stay and the food is amazing!!! Highly recommend staying here. The bedding is lovely, its quiet and charming. Pat has a flair in the kitchen that guarantees you will love he food! Very homey and you can have as much privacy as you want.
We were in town for a friend's wedding, and Pat was a wonderful host. She was super attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and well-fed. Plus, she's a great cook! Everything about the B&B - the food, the rooms, the company - was delightful. Thanks, Pat!
So, this was my first B&B experience and I have to say it has simple been phenomenal. Heaven Scent is a cozy little place tucked away off the road with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of your own home. I stayed in the Blue room which was perfect for my needs. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of it even when completely rested. Pat, is super friendly and beyond accommodating. It felt so much like I was staying with family. Breakfast was also really good. And, I was able to sit and talk with Pat for the duration of my meal as other guests had set different meal times. Which, was another fantastic feature. You can request breakfast anytime between 7:30 and Noon (aditional hours may be honored on an individual basis within reason). Location is super close to the museum that is hosting the wedding I am attending. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience. Hope to come back again.…
Wonderful spot. Pat, the owner, made us feel very welcome and cooked a delightful breakfast each morning. Her homemade bread was delicious! We will definitely visit Heaven Scent again when we travel to the Chesapeake Bay!
