A delightful respite from a busy schedule. Anne is a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome. We met another couple that was interesting and enjoyed lively conversation over a glass of wine. Will go back!

From beginning to end, our stay at the Bell House B&B was exceptional. Anne, the owner could not have been more hospitable. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the front porch overlooking the Potomac River shortly after we arrived. Then we were given many good suggestions for places to eat dinner, and walked to the one we chose in the...

This bed-and-breakfast has it all. Comfortable accommodations, great food in the morning, and hostess Anne Bolin goes all out to take care of her guests. I'd like to come back because Colonial Beach has a lot of natural beauty and enough to do for those of us who prefer peace and quiet to the crowds and kitsch of other beaches.

Ann was charming, great to talk with and very hospitable. Rooms and bedding were very comfortable. Lots of interesting pictures in each room, all with a story of their own. Views of the Potomac river. Innkeeper offered suggestions for places to eat and things to do.

The Bell House is a wonderful historic B&B located in Colonial Beach, VA. The innkeeper Ann Bolin is absolutely delightful. She shares her gift of hospitality through her outgoing personality, welcoming environment, delicious breakfasts, and evening wine and cheese. The home is beautiful and rich in history. Our 2nd floor room had an amazing view of the morning sunrise on...

We were only able to stay one night in this quaint, amazing place. We loved our room., I believe it was called the Potomac Sunrise. Sadly, we did not get to see the sunrise due to a cloudy, rainy morning, but we loved it just the same. So much history and that part was wonderful. Anne is a wonderful hostess...

Title says it all. Ann was delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. I want to know her better! Inn is spotless. Bed super comfy. Coffee and breakfast delicious in the morning-- but too much food! Started with some kind of fruit and then she makes this awesome oatmeal triangle with some dried food and nuts-- want the recipe, then moved on to...

A beautiful historic house with an amazing hostess. We just stayed for one night to get away from life! There are a number of wineries in the area and a few great restaurants. If you plan on doing some wine tastings check with Anne first, she was able to give us a voucher for Ingleside Winery.

Loved the conversation with the o so charming owner Anne. She makes you feel completely at home and welcome with the afternoon wine and cheese sampling. The rooms are very charming and elegant. Be careful if you expect a cell/wifi signal since the area is a small town peninsula. Great getaway soaked in elegance.

This lovely historical house of Alexander Graham Bell's is so well preserved and Anne Bolin is the superb hostess to complement your stay. Anne never tires of supplying information on the locale, as well as the history behind the home and surrounding area. You'll want to come back and glean every bit of information she serves up! All this with...
