This is the second time we went for an afternoon tea at the Channel Bass Inn - the first was almost 20 years ago. Not that we didn't want to, we just didn't have a chance until this Thanksgiving weekend. The experience exceeded the memories - charming, personal service by Barbara (she will make a point of calling each of...

My husband and I had never been to Chincoteague Island. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Channell Bass Inn. David and Barbara made us feel very comfortable. They were exceptionally helpful with our plans, making suggestions for dinner and other activities. We will be back!

So I surprised my wife with this amazing destination called Channel Bass Inn. What brought my attention to visit this place was the history of this place open since the 1800s. Barbera and David treat you like royalty from fresh lox bagels with capers and cream cheese and that's just the beginning. Barbera is an amazing cook and Baker she...

Our two days at the Channel Bass Inn were totally delightful. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Barbara and David are wonderful hosts. They made sure we were comfortable and suggested restaurants and places to see. The breakfasts were out of this world! Barbara is an amazing baker and cook. She made the most delicious ginger scones I have...

We just had a wonderful four-night stay at this lovely Inn. Barbara and David are both so warm and welcoming - something we knew right way from our welcome hug - just like old friends returning for a visit, although this was our first time staying here. But it won't be our last! The accommodations are extremely comfortable and many...

I stayed at Channel Bass Inn with my husband and my dog, Stella, for 8 nights. The place reminded me of a beautiful English house. The room was comfortable, clean and well decorated. David and Barbara were very accommodating and kind. Their breakfasts were such a treat! Barbara put so much care and love to them. The Inn was conveniently...

Barbara and David are so lovely and go above and beyond to accomodate you. My picky 9 year-old was comfortable and welcome and he can be quite difficult at times. Afternoon tea was a true delight. Breakfast was delicious as well and Barbara will make sure to tailor it to your needs. The ducks that take refuge in the garden...

I didn't tell my husband where we were sneaking off to on his 60th birthday, so made plans to come here with Barbara. The trip started out badly, with traffic jams and closed tunnels adding hours to our trip, and then we had to contend with ridiculous heat and way too many bugs. But Inn made it all worth it....

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Chincoteague. It was as comfortable as staying at your closest friend's place all the while being waited upon! There are so many positives to the Channel Bass Inn. First, there are the hosts Barbara and David who are some of the neatest most genuine people we met while...

When Barbara found out that I was gluten free she went above and beyond, baking GF scones (with real clotted cream) and banana bread. It was so wonderful to have someone so considerate. She is a great baker! Both Barbara and David were very warm and welcoming, and the other guests were also lovely. Staying at their B&B was a...
