Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff was appreciated. Liked the location that provided a terrific view of the bay. have to say, Geno's breakfast was top shelf! Enjoyed my stay and would return.

We just happened upon the island resort on our way onto Chincoteague. It's right as you cross over the bridge to your left. So comfortable with a bed, living room furniture that was like at home. Plus a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Ice for the hot days another plus. Clean! Beautiful views!! And the bonus of free breakfast...

What a pleasant surprise! One night stay on our way to Nags Head. Great location, right over the bridge. Very large rooms, with water views. Spotlessly clean, - in all areas of the resort. Boardwalk and seating on the sound. Breakfast included. Helpful front desk.

Glad that we returned to the Island Resort for another visit. Like our last visit, this hotel offers great service, great views, for a good value. This is a locally owned hotel, by island residents, so staying here supports the local community and not a big chain from elsewhere.

We had a 2nd floor 2 double beds room on Oct. 16-18 2016. The room was a very nice size and like all rooms had a water view. We couldn't have been more pleased. all staff were very friendly. The facilities were modern, well maintained and very clean. A full buffet breakfast was included. The location was central to all...

I saw an ad about a Ford Mustang and the car was pictured with the wild ponies of Chincoteague. I read about this amazing, unique place for the very first time and was so intrigued; I had to go! It was everything I thought it would be. The Island Motor Inn was unbelievably convenient. The boat tour came right to...

We stayed at the Island Motor Inn Resort the weekend Matthew hit the east coast so our stay was shortened. The location is very convenient to all activities on the island and the room itself was spacious and as the title says it was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. We were in a corner room...

Price is a bit high for and older hotel. But with that said, beautiful views, GREAT breakfast included, nice indoor hot tub and pool We chose this hotel so we could walk outside and catch Captain Henry's Saltwater Pony Tours. I haven't used an actual key in a hotel room in awhile!

The hotel is older local hotel. It is very well maintained and clean. It is old school, still uses real metal keys, if you are looking modern this is not the hotel for you. But again it is very clean, taken care of and we'll kept. Great views and boardwalk. It was also the best value, during or week it...

Very nicely maintained property, right on the bay side off the highway connecting the island to the mainland. Our room felt like we were right over the water, super view over the bay. However our room had a strong odor (like they painted the tub with epoxy paint or similar...staff couldn't tell us for sure...gave us headaches). Told manager at...
