My husband and I just spent the weekend in the Hideaway room. We were disappointed in the Watson House. I had specifically asked for this room because it has a separate entrance. Given Covid we were concerned about being inside. When we arrived on Friday the owner greeted us without a mask and asked me to come inside to get the key. The next morning the owner showed us the self serve breakfast without a mask. The breakfast was store bought baked goods, melon, boiled eggs and bacon. The hotel shows its age.

Annette and Jeff are now open and as great as ever! Some rooms have TV sets; but we come for the peace and quiet (and Jeff's cooking). Not all local restaurants are open, but our favorites were or will be soon. Another great Memorial Day weekend...we'll be back another time or three, soon.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at a BNB. We were impressed. We were here during pony penning week. The Watson House is a great place. I suppose the correct term is "quaint". The hosts, Annette and Jeff, were great. The breakfast's were awesome, especially the SOS (if you were in the military you'll know what this is). Our room was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you Annette and Jeff for a great stay.

The news owners just began a few months ago this year. The house and the decor are the same as two years ago; clean and tidy. There is still free wifi. The former owners gave a pass for the beach - now you have to purchase one on your own - which is still inexpensive ($20 for a week pass or $40 annually) but just an FYI. The breakfast is very nice, and there are snacks through the day. It is a nice touch. I would recommend that the serving times be a bit more consistent - its a bed and breakfast, so if its marked as 8am for serving coffee and food it should be 8am-8:15, not 8:45.

My girlfriend and I stayed on July 4th weekend. We stayed in the Bayside room. The entire house is very clean, the breakfast was delicious, the decor was quaint and was conveniently located. All in all A+ guest house would stay there again. Also Annette was super friendly and nice what a darling.
